David Mackenzie is the teacher of the Blood Magic class, and he is an experienced blood mage despite only being 19 years old. the lights were off and the doors are locked.

Fredrick felt no qualms about burning this place.
Because there is no description for this classroom, I will assume it is made of wood.
Blood magic. He'd always hated it. It probably had something to do with the twelve practitioners of this art he'd met back in a French café. Blacksblade had met them, too.
It seemed that there was no one in attendance, but a cursory glance through the window he smashed revealed dozens of powerful spells on the desks. None that he would ever want to use, but if a Possessor got his hands on any of this stuff, they would have no reason to care for their form's blood...
No, best that it burn.
He set it ablaze with a few well-placed bursts of hellfire and let the flame go wild. He could always count on it to destroy, and he had a lot of work to do.
He disappeared back into the ground.
