I read in the preface that the Tempest is widely considered his best play. But I've never read it. I do like Othello.
I haven't read the Tempest either. Macbeth is my 2nd favorite, followed by Much Ado About Nothing.
I enjoyed it, thought it got stronger as I went. At first I was trying to make it a novel, not a collection of intertwined short stories. But I liked how there was an over all small town theme that tied together some fairly different stories.
I liked it too. I did think all the short stories were going to come together more, like in movies like Love Actually, but then it didn't. I liked that each story had a style distinct to its narrator. The one that took place at the grocery store was my favorite.
I kind of wanted more of it also. I want to know what happened next for some of the characters.
Adam, have you been able to get your hands on Gone Girl? If I gift it can you download it?

if you emailed it to jaownbey@kindle.com I'll try to download ot this week in our next port call.
Poo. Do you already have Midnight? We could flip flop them until you get back. Or give us a handful that you do have and we'll pick something.
If you still have Prime and can borrow it, or if it's in your ship's lending library, I just started Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain and it seems like it's going to be good.
I always want a baby elephant after reading that one. Are you at work? Why you no email me back?
those were good, I remember them. Trip is going fine, three months is terribly long. Just saw some black and white porpoises and some puffins.
