Thomas Cardin | 19 comments Hello, my name is Thomas Cardin as I am recently self published author of epic fantasy.

All three books of my Gifts of Vorallon trilogy are available on Kindle and in paperback through Amazon and CreateSpace.

The Final Warden (Gifts of Vorallon, #1) by Thomas Cardin City of Thunder (Gifts of Vorallon, #2) by Thomas Cardin Lord of Vengeance (Gifts of Vorallon, #3) by Thomas Cardin

The Gifts of Vorallon is a story from the first age of man upon the world of Vorallon. Magic is a primordial force and sorcery is in its infancy.

When life is in danger and the precious living spirit of the world is at risk, the Old Gods set destinies in motion to preserve Vorallon. Their instruments of choice are heroes blessed with magical gifts and godstone, a substance from which weapons of epic might are forged.

Vorallon faces a threat that has left entire universes dead in its wake, the God of Undeath--before he can raise the spirit of Vorallon as his own, it must die, and with it, all life and magic.

To face the God of Undeath and his harbinger, the Devourer, the Old Gods have chosen one very special man. A man derailed from his planned destiny. A man no longer bound by the rules that govern fate and free will.

Lorace is their chosen hero and he will change the destinies of everyone still living. As a man, he will fight when the gods cannot. As a man, he would sacrifice all he is to see the lives he loves safe from the threat of undeath.

Thomas Cardin | 19 comments I am doing a special promo for the month of May.

It is May, and as everyone knows, that means it's 'Demon a Day' month!

My fantasy trilogy is full of demons, bloodthirsty abominations of corruption.

Every day in May I am drawing a different demon that appears in:
The Final Warden (Gifts of Vorallon, #1) by Thomas Cardin , City of Thunder (Gifts of Vorallon, #2) by Thomas Cardin , and Lord of Vengeance (Gifts of Vorallon, #3) by Thomas Cardin

Visit my blog at http://thomascardin.blogspot.com/ to find out how you can get an autographed postcard of your choice of demons.

You will also find more of my artwork, some background information about the Gifts of Vorallon, and essays on writing and fantasy.

I believe I'm entitled to a demon drawing, as I just purchased your first book this week. That would be fun, exchanging freebies. my address is on the back the postcard I sent you. Good luck with this promotion!

You're the kind of writer I hate: one who is better than me. :)

seriously, I find it very well written. I had trouble at the very beginning working out what was going on with (view spoiler)

Thomas Cardin | 19 comments Yeah that first chapter can be a lot to take in for a new fantasy endeavor. As the story progresses, things begin to add light to those pages.

I stand by what I did, but I look that chapter over all the time to see if I could have lightened the load and still provided the platform my characters needed.

John Hughes | 1 comments I would love to read the Vorallon Trilogy, as this sounds like it's exactly my kind of read, but don't have a Kindle (I'm in love with my NOOK)... Will this become widely available at a future date or must I run out and buy the Kindle?

message 20: by Thomas (new) - added it

Thomas Cardin | 19 comments The only other format I can offer at this time is the print version through Amazon.

I did have this book available on the Nook for several months last year, but that is no consolation to you. It simply received no sales beyond two that went directly to personal acquaintances. Since that period, I have chosen to maintain the trilogy as an Amazon exclusive.
