Do I have to get y'all started?
I think my favorite character (so far) would have to be Drimesh. I love that as the reader, we suddenly find ourselves looking at things from the vantage point of one of Garaaga's children.
This evil beast turns out to be a conflicted individual trying to balance his demon abilities and desires with his humanity. His struggles with love and desire; how he fails and tries to do better; the depth of his feelings once he opens himself up to love...these are just some of the reasons I fell in love with this character...
Okay, now your turn...

Drimesh it is for me too. So far that's the only Garaaga's children POV and he is fascinating.
Well, you'll be happy to know that Ama is Drimesh's mother. In other words, you're going to meet three generations of that family. Hela, Ama, and Drimesh. :)
Woohoo. I knew about Ama, but Hela is a new one. ;)
There are a lot of great characters in this series, but my favorite is Drimesh. In my opinion, he's one of the most interesting and complex characters we've seen so far. I really look forward to reading Ama and other stories that feature Garaaga's children and its followers.
The series in general has focused on the non-Garaaga characters. That's going to change as we move into the Common Era. There are reasons for this. One has to plant a legend before one can trace its travels through history. Children and worshippers don't make legends--people who are in awe or fear do.
As the series moves to the First Crusade next year and then to the Spanish Inquisition, things are going to change. The transformation will bring you more of everything you liked in the previous stories.

Interlopers was my favorite so far and the main character Nerutal. I like the warrior type characters and he worked well in the Interlopers story.Tho i did enjoy Scrolls and the main character there (Heredot i think, it's been a while since i read each story so i'm having to go back and re-look up names). I just found his story interesting in recounting a lot of the stuff that had occurred before it by translating the scrolls.
Pretty sure you're the first person to name Interlopers as their fave. Herodot is my personal fave...in the stories y'all have read.
