Originally from Manila but currently in Qatar.
What's this, you ask? Well, we all know that the Philippines is a country that has 7,000+ islands, with a population that we can barely count. Most of the active members of the group are in Manila, but this isn't just a book club for the Manila readers, but for the readers all over the Philippines.
While we would really love to be able to go around the Philippines to meet all TFG members and to have discussions all over the country...we can't. :( Until teleportation becomes possible, that is. So while we wait for that, we have created TFG's Regional Lounge! This is where you can create a thread for your city/province/region/country (if you're expats or OFWs), and give a shout out to find your fellow TFG members from your area, and the thread will serve as your online mini-clubhouse for the people from your area. :)
So go ahead, start a thread for your area, and find bookish friends near you! :)

* Be careful with the details you share, especially when it comes to your location. Remember that we are still a public group, and our threads are searchable, so please don't post your address or contact details for your own privacy.
* Feel free to post in your dialect in your regional thread.
* Trolling will only be tolerated at a certain point. If in any case you feel uncomfortable with a member's comment, please send a PM to any of the mods with the details/comment and we will deal with it privately.
