Summer Reading Program discussion

A few of us are reading A CLOCKWORK ORANGE for SRP, as soon as everybody gets a copy, that is. But are there any other recommended books? Anything anybody wants to read as a group? :)

I'm going to check and see if my library has a copy. I may have to get it from B&N the next time I go in.

I don't have to read that though - right..cause I really didn't like the movie.. :)

No, no, of course not. This isn't a book club, we're not reading the same books (necessarily). A few of us who hang out chose to read this book together, but no one _has_ to read it or anything else. :)

Ok, Sam, I REALLY tried to read A Clockwork Orange. I can't do it...I don't even know what they're talking about and I had a copy that had the slang translated on the page. Maybe I'll try it again later this Summer, but I just don't think I can get it read without my brain imploding.

I've just posted my thoughts on A CLOCKWORK ORANGE, even though I considered not posting them until everyone had read it.

But discussion can still happen, even after someone's posted his impression, right? :)
