I was surprised to see how few ratings this book has, and more surprised to discover that it hasn't been translated into English. Luckily, I've put my hands on the Romanian translation and I can say that A Circle in the Grass is really good and definitely deserves to be translated. As I also stated in my review, I'm not an experienced reader, but I feel that this book is entitled to a wider audience.

It seems like great Dutch fiction is extremely undertranslated in general (I was unable to find book-length translated work from almost anyone in the linked anthology).
