My very, very limited look-see is that this isn't possible yet. I think they MCPL system has to be in cohoots with WorldCat to do this...it doesn't seem like they are at present. Here's the message I got when searching:There are no WorldCat item holdings set for this library. If this is a branch library, holdings may be set at the main library level in WorldCat
I agree. This would be super handy if they were linked, I end up opening other tabs to search the library after marking a to-read. It would be nice to simply choose the 'libraries' option on the book page under ther 'get a copy' feature.
well, i think it is possible after some more testing, i just don't know how to set up a link. goodreads suggests searching for a title by its isbn code and then replacing a specific book code with #ISBN#.it would look like this: catalog.mymcpl.org/client/default/sea...
this worked all fine and dandy in testing, and then i went to "save" the link, where goodreads won't allow specific characters that mcpl currently uses in it's addresses for their coding (the |, specifically).
see? too technical for me!

Within Overdrive you can long-press the book cover on your book shelf. The option to share will come up and Good reads is one of the choices. I add all e-books and e-audiobooks that I access with Overdrive to Good reads from there.

Thanks for the information!

it seems to me that it would be nice if i could add items to my shelf here on goodreads and then when i "search" for it, i could be automatically connected to the mymcpl.org page (p.s. i am a big fan of the new catalog). have any of you succeeded in doing this? i tried to make my own search, but don't know of an isbn number, and don't see any tutorials otherwise. thanks!
