I'm curious to find anyone who used the ACX service at Amazon. If so, what was your experience, good or bad. Thanks in advance.Jill Brock

I've looked into it but haven't used it I would like to know as well if anyone has used it and their experiences with it.
What is it?Obviously, I have not used ACX, but I am curious as to what I have missed (or dodged, depending).

Just completed the finished work with a narrator who agreed to work for 50% of the royalties. I loved her voice right off and am excited to see the audio version pop up in the Amazon box with Kindle/ paperback, etc shortly. It was a pleasant experience all around, but you should note that if you do not have something special to offer a narrator (previously professionally published books, high sales already etc) you will most likely either have to narrate yourself or pay by the hour for narration service.

I doubt I could do it myself. The audio books I've listen to are enjoyable for the narrator as well as the story. Your comment has given me something to think about. Thanks
