Hello there!
There were many clues that someone important dies in the upcoming last book of TMI: City of Heavenly Fire.
I'm always having nightmares that it will be Jace, because of a quote that I came across, although it didn't say which character in particular said it...
Anyway, who do you think will Cassie decide to eliminate?? DD:

I think she'd kill not-so-main-but-still-important-characters like may be Meryse, Robert, Luke or Jocelyn.

I'd be sooo sad if Luke or Jocelyn died DD: Anyway, I hope Cassie keeps it in mind that a big part of her fandom will burn down the world if she kills one of our favorite characters!!

I really don't want it to be, but I'm pretty sure she's killing Simon.

I think it could be Alec too

I think due to a spoiler on one of her main websites, there is on of Sebastian saying that he killed someone's boyfriend, it has to be either Alec, Magnus, Luke, Jace or Simon. Just a thought.....

Don't forget Kyle! I really don't think she'd kill Alec or Magnus, most of the fandom will crucify her, me included! Imo Clace and Malec are save. Well, they better be for Cassie's own good :D :D :D

could it possibly be luke, do you think? i cant remember if him and jocelyn are married yet or not? if not then i guess theyre technically still boyfriend and girlfriend in a way... i dont know

Hmm... Well, they delayed the wedding in CoFA and with everything that happened in CoLS they never found the time then either. So I think you're right, it could be Luke.

but it wud be really sad if it were Luke though.

if Jace dies, Cassandra's fandom is going to hell. but there are hints of it, especially since it says in the summary from lady midnight that the main chqracter wants to be the best shadowhunter since Jace Wayland/Herondale.... so maybe Jace dies? if she does that all her fans are going to hate her...

It depends on what a main character is. In Harry Potter the deaths of Tonks and Lupin were considered deaths of main ones, so why not count Luke and Kyle? Even Jocelyn or Maya could die. I still believe Clace, Malec and Sizzy to be save and I shall deny their deaths even if Cassie was to wrote such a horrible thing! :D

Simon better not get killed off ( Somehow ) or i will cut someone. I think i love simon more then any other person in the book.

I would not be upset if Clary dies (is that weird?) & I will go off the walls crazy if something happens to Sizzy...

Cassandra clare said that 6 people in cofh are going to die. If one of them is jace or clary i will be soooo pissed of!

Tessa or Jem are going to die and i know you will all be like: noooo the epilogue of CP2 and whatever but hear me out:

First, in the snippets Jocelyn introduces Clary to Tessa and in the epilogue Tessa knows nothing about Clary or any one else

Second, Sebastian needs time to gather forces so maybe a year or maybe some months pass until he returns

And third, in the CoLS it is Autumn of 2007 and we have a snippet of a christmas chapter existing in the book so it can be the year of 2008 (the year of epilogue) so it is possible that in the middle of the book Tessa and Jem reappear

The possibility of Tessa dying is waaay more than Jem dying but...

Also about Jem's healing: the heavenly fire in him (caused by touching Jace) healed him from every sickness and the silent brotherhood

I LOVE SIMON (even more than Jace) (#sorrynotsorry) but something tells me he is going o die...

Sebastian will not die. He will heal from the dmon blood or something i am sure of it. Maybe by touching Jace and heavenly fire (the same thing that happened to Jem)

Clary is not going to die. Neither will Jace. This is not Divergent for goodness sake. So Clace shippers i kindly beg you to calm down.

I DO NOT KNOW ABOUT MALEC. I HATE IF ANY OF THEM GET HURT. But knowing Cassandra and what she did to Will... I am not so sure that after their reunion nothing bad happens to them.

Omg!!! You are a genious!! I thought the same think as you except the part of why jem was not a silent brother anymore, i mean i didn't realize that the epilogue of CP2 was after COHF, and that maybe the heavenly fire on Jace was the reason why, i didn't conect all the facts...

I love Simon and the only reason I have hope that he won't die is that Cassandra Clare's real name is Judith Lewis and she is Jewish and Simeon's last name is Lewis and he is Jewish. She CAN'T kill her own blood!!! Even if it is a fictional relative but if you look at her husband you can see a resemblance with him and Simon. One the both have curly-ish hair and glasses.

Yeah.. Actually she said once that Simon was inspired on her husband... But that doesn't guarantee that he is not going to die.. :(

I don't think that Jem is going to die because the clockwork princess epilogue happened after the battle in city of heavenly fire. I think that Cassie confirmed it herself. I have the tiniest bit of feeling that Simon and Alec are going to die ( God ... I can't believe that i just wrote that. I also think that Jocelyn might die. And that I might also die reading this book :'(

I really don't know who will die... but I really hope it's not Jace, Clary, Simon, Alec, Isabelle, Luke, and Joceyln. I love them oh and don't forget Magnus just because he broke up with Alec doesn't mean he doesn't care about him.
