Bag of Bones question

There are some similarities - the house is a character in both books - Manderley in Rebecca and Sara Laughs in Bag of Bones. Both houses are haunted, in different ways. Max deWinter is widowed, so is Mike Noonan.

Is Rebecca by Stephen King? I am having trouble finding this book. I have never heard of it.????

Rebecca is a novel by Daphne du Maurier, it a bit of a classic :)
