Roleplay for Uglies here... Tally's city.

Raine sat in her bed, interface ring off.

((Where are we?))

((In Uglyville. I'm in my dorm room))

((ok, where is Lily then?))

((Well, it's like, lights out or whatever its called, so in her dorm also, I guess.))

((ok))

Lily lay on her bed. She imagined what it would be like if she was free.

Zanna stared out of her dorm window at New Pretty Town. Three long years before she would live there.

"Lights off," Raine said to the room.

Lily thought of what it would be like to be a Pretty. Would she be totally changed? Would she not even recognize herself?

Raine was so tired. But she couldn't help thinking that it would be two whole years till she would become pretty. It seemed like an eternity to Raine.

Finally, Raine drifted off to a dreamless sleep.

Auzra was going to turn pretty in July, but she wasn't sure she wanted the complete change. She liked her hair, and her eyes, and her nose. She had to admit she wanted a little bit of fat out of her midsection and her ears more pointed, but she didn't want to wake up with her hair suddenly having blonde streaks and her eyes golden and her mouth fuller and her nose smaller. But there was no way to tell them how to do the surge, so she would just have to modify herself when they had finished. She sighed, it was still three months. She climbed out of bed, put a heat pack under the sheets, said goodnight to her interface ring, and climbed out the window. It made her feel free to be able to walk the grounds at night. And she was going to hoverboard of course. She smiled and ran into the woods.

Lily contemplated whether her black hair was better with her complexion or maybe a lighter color to match her fair skin. Anyways, they were going to make her pretty.

((I thought she was only 14))

Auzra climbed the tall oak she had hidden her hoverboard in and started it up. She jumped on and flew above the trees, as far off the ground as she could get without her board dieing.

((I know, she is just thinking))

((ok! Can Lily make friends with Auzra?))

This was Auzra's favorite part of everyday. Hoverboarding at midnight.

((yes!wait can you even hoverboard at midnight?))

Somewhere in the city, Raine woke up screaming. Nightmare. Ugh. She couldn't go back to sleep now. She sneaked out and brought her hoverboard with her. She hopped on and just flew. It was the perfect way to clear her mind.

Lily stared at the ceiling. It took 2 seconds for her to figure that she wasn't going to fall asleep. She sighed. She got out her hoverboard. She snickered. Time for a little night time ride
