I agree very very very much with Lia. Oh god, I had it when I was in third year college, and summer was thesis time. I mean damn it, what a torture year.

I like my summer holiday, please don't take that away.

I think it would drain students. Also I think there are times such as the Easter Holidays in the U.K when most students need a couple of weeks off so they can revise and ready themselves for the up and hell that is the summer exams.

Students need summer vacation. They need something to look forward to. The thought of summer gets them through the hardest tests because they can think "just get through this and then you can rest". With no hope of a break, there is no motivation.
