Ash Wednesday (ashwednesdaylee) | 10 comments If anyone hasn't read this: How to Kill a Rock Star by Tiffanie DeBartolo . Tiffanie DeBartolo and Karina's narrative and style have some similarities. One of the things I love about Karina's books are her music selections. Something I usually frown on books unless the author's tastes closely mirrors mine :)

I love that book so much! Have you read God-Shaped Hole by Tiffanie Debartolo?

Ash Wednesday (ashwednesdaylee) | 10 comments Not yet, I'm slating it for next month probably :) Paul <3
I'm excited to see other people's recs for a Karina Halle addict. Her style is so distinctive I don't think I've seen any other author who writes like her (save for TdB)

Jenn Cooksey also has a very distinctive writing style. Her sharp wit and love for music and pop culture is remnicisent of Karina. I loved her mature YA series, Grab Your Pole series.

Shark Bait (Grab Your Pole #1) by Jenn Cooksey The Other Fish in the Sea (Grab Your Pole, #2) by Jenn Cooksey Shark Out of Water (Grab Your Pole, #3) by Jenn Cooksey

Megan • Reading Books Like a Boss (book blog) (ireadlikeaboss) I would highly recommend Painted Faces by L.H. Cosway. The male love interest is a straight drag queen. Fred & Viv is one of my favorite couples. This book is definitely a favorite of mine.

Kim *Mo Chridhe* (kimthebookcrier) | 41 comments Hi everyone! My most recent favourite has to be Tangled (Tangled, #1) by Emma Chase . The entire book is from the hero's POV and his snarkiness reminds me a lot of Dex.

As for all time faves, How to Kill a Rock Star by Tiffanie DeBartolo is definitely among them. I ship that book so hard! If you haven't read God-Shaped Hole by Tiffanie DeBartolo I'd suggest that too and then reread HtKaRS. There are epic revelations you'll discover :)

I am also obsessed with the entire The Fever Series 5-Book Bundle Darkfever, Bloodfever, Faefever, Dreamfever, Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning series. This is more urban fantasy than romance but the sexual tension and witty dialogue between the main characters were off the charts. If you're into alpha males then I don't think you'd find anyone who'll top Jericho Barrons. Karina is a fan of this series too, I believe. I think there is a Shadowfever influence in one scene in Into the Hollow.

I also read a ton of Kristen Ashley she's one of those love her or hate her types. My favourite of hers would be Lady Luck (Colorado Mountain, #3) by Kristen Ashley .

Other faves the come to mind right now are In The Stillness by Andrea Randall , The Opportunist (Love Me With Lies, #1) by Tarryn Fisher series, and the The Bronze Horseman (The Bronze Horseman, #1) by Paullina Simons trilogy.

For YA,
Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss, #1) by Stephanie Perkins is the book I recommend to everyone. I love anything by Melina Marchetta, but most notably Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta .

I'll definitely check out Painted Faces by L.H. Cosway soon. Thanks for the reco! :)

Megan • Reading Books Like a Boss (book blog) (ireadlikeaboss) So many great recs, Kim! I'll be reading Tangled and In the Stillness soon. And I really want to read the Bronze Horseman series. Thanks for the recommendations!

Kim you have to tell me how much you love Dante after. I'm being presumptuous but I haven't had an unsatisfied erm, 'customer' from this book :)

And no I'm not Victoria Scott's sock puppet account :p

Lol. I can't resist a cocky hero, but some YA guys just aren't convincing. I'm in the mood for some snarky and sarcastic male narrator right now though, after having just finished Tangled. I think I'll read this next.

Heidi R. | 22 comments Okay you crazy people you! If you haven't pre-ordered Dirty Angels yet, you better hop to it!!! Still 99 cents and believe me, it is freaking worth it!! I read an ARC (and still will purchase the ebook)of it and it ROCKED!!!! You'll be so surprised at how you feel about a "certain" character! You may want a good background for it, so if you haven't read The Artist's Trilogy, you'd best do that, too.

This has been a Public Service Announcement from a Karina Halle fan!! :D <3

Terri (lostwithoutmykindle) | 1 comments Mimi Jean Pamfiloff is pretty awesome and her writing has that same witty edginess that we love in Karina's books. She writes paranormal and contemporary romance.
