In a stadium in San Francisco. Darla is the main speaker for the organization. There are millions of dday supporters here. All flocks welcome.

Darla adjusted her glasses and got her clipboard. She was ready and excited to see all of the supporters and preach about the organization.

McKayla was going around outside of the stage, making final preperations and checking in on the security. From where she was, she could clearly hear the roar of the crowd

Darla looked to McKayla and said pleasantly with a smile,"We're ready. Let them in."

Gem felt the excited crowd around her closing in. Then she heard the doors open. She was pushed forward. "Echo! Alex!"

Gem heard her phone ping and said to Echo. "Can you check my phone and tell me what it says?"

Echo nodded and took out Gems phone for her and said, "Its from Zach. It says, ''I can see you, top floor of the hotel third room form your left,'"

McKayla grinned at Darla and walked to the gate, "Welcome!" she said in a beautiful, booming voice. "Its time, come follow us along the path of the One Light!" she shouted and opened the gate. People started to flood in

Reece heard people running around, whooping and hollering. "This way!" She led the flock to the rally and was immediely crowded with other children

"Its open!" Beven shouted to the flock and led them over to the rally, "Stay close together everyone, theres lots of people."

Jace guides Snow, Hannah, Rose, and Alex over to the rally. "Pay close attention." She whispers to them and sticks close by them, not wanting to get seperated

Nik follwed Reece, taking her hand as he scanned the rally. There were so many people, he hadnt expected so many.

McKayla walked back to the stage and stood by Darla, "So many young minds. So many followers," she said happily

Reece took Nik's hand greatfully. The last thing she wanted right now was to be seperated from her flock. She looked at some of the DGers, eyes were vacant and expressions were too happy. This didnt seem good

"Welcome!" McKayla said into a mic. "Welcome to the rally of the One Light. I am McKayla and I am a believer!" She shouted and the crowd roared and applauded

Stephanie followed Reece. She looked around at the other kids.

Jade followed. She badly wanted to turn invisible.

Rose goes and holds Alex's hand.

Nik kept a close eye on every brain-washed weirdo around them. Their vacant expressions creeped him out. He saw so many faces and wondered if any of them were freaks like him and the flock.

Stephanie looks around. She notices 3 group of people who weren't as vacant. She could feel that they where still themselves.

Jace was sure to stay by her flock.

Beven grabs Hayden and Jade's hands, not wanted them to get lost in the wave of the crowd

"Let us begin!" McKayla shouted and smiled beautifully. "You all want to save the world, dont you?" She asked
"Yes!" the crowd shouted
"You want to be safe when the apocalypse comes, dont you?" McKayla asks
"Yes!" shouted the crowd
"The One Light is the answer! Kill all the humans!" McKayla shouted enthusastically
The crowd roared and held up signs, each says something simular to the following: Kill all the humans, or The One Light Leads the Way!

Reece looks puzzled, "Did she just say what I think she said. Arent all the people here all human?" she asked no one in particular

Annabelle stared, confused

"I knew this was going to bad." Nik mummbled. He couldnt believe what these people were agreeing to.

"Mother Earth is dying. The solution is quite simple. Rid the world of the problem, man. Let a newly enhanced human race dominate!" McKayla continued and smiles. The crowd roared in agreement

Reece stared at the lady, her mouth hanging open in shock. She quickly closed it and shook her head. This is a joke, right? But the lady's hypnotic voice was telling her otherwise

A girl gripped Jace's hand and bounced up and down. "The one light will save us all!" she smiled happily. Jace stared at the girl and wripped her hands away. "You do realize you are committing to killing yourself, your friends and family?" The DG girl nods enthusastically, "Its the only way!" she says happily

Annabelle coughed

Nik felt a sudden pain in his stomache, "I'll be right back." He mummbled before letting go of Reece's hand and leaving.
He got away from the crowed and threw up in a trash can. The bad thing was he noticed it was blood.

Gem nodded to Echo "Let's get some seats."

Isabel followed the flock to a row of seats.


Darla grabbed her microphone and waited for McKayla to introduce her. So many young hearts to reach. They were all beautiful and willing to their solution. If there was any doubt amongst the crowd, she would diminish it with her words. Seeing that McKayla had them in her trance, she doubted she would have to convince them much more.

Annabelle followed him to make sure he was okay

Nik waited for the dizzyness to disapear before her turned to head back to the rally. He then saw Annabelle, "Hey." He said weakly.

Echo nodded, "Alright. But are you hearing this? Its crazy." She led everyone to some seats

Beven decided to stay standing, most people were anyways

The crowd continued to cheer. Eventually it died down just enough so McKayla could speak again, "Not convinced yet?" she said, although, everyone was hooked into a deep trance. "To talk to you further, here is Darla!" She said, her voice raising as she spoke. McKayla smiled widely

When Nik suddenly let go of her hand and moved through the crowd, Reece broke her gaze from the speakers and looked around for him. But it was as if the crowd as swallowed him up. She went around and tried to find him

"Are you all right?"

Nik nodded, "Just feeling a little sick is all." He said, walking with Annabelle back to the crowed trying to find the flock.

Gem's eyes were wide. "It's nuts!" she had to shout over the crowd. "How can this many kids believe in this garbage?!"


Isabel crossed her arms and looked around. It was packed in every seat and row. She turned her attention to the girl speaking.


Darla walked gracefully onto the stage and smiled pleasantly. "Hello everyone." she said and the stadium went silent. "I'm so glad to see so many young faces supporting our solution. The one light is the only way."

Darla went on. "As our wonderful speaker McKayla said, the only way to live is to die my friends." Her smile widened. She truly believed in what she was saying. "Do any of you have any questions? We'd be glad to answer them."

Reece kept trying to look around for Annabelle and Nik. But they didnt seem to show up

Jace turned her attention from the excited DG girl and heard someone shout. So Jace wasnt the only one who thought this was a load of crap?

Echo back Gem up. "You guys want to kill everyone, thats insane. No, its sick!" she shouted hoping to get over the noise of the crowd

Nik made his way with Annabelle back to the rest of the flock. "They're really eating this crap up arent they." He said to Reece, hoping to avoid the subject of his disapearance.

Stephanie stared confused.

Jade was outraged. "What the? This is so werid!" she exclaimed to her flock.

Rose nodded along believing everyword. "The one light!" she shouted.

Darla's face dropped a little bit at the mean shout. "It's not insane. It's the only way. Don't you see? You just need to believe and all will be good." Her smile grew back to its original grin at the roar of approval from the crowd.

"Why kill humans? We are humans! What do you think we are?" Stephanie screamed over the crowd.

Annabelle looked around

"And exactly what is that going to acomplish? If anything you guys are going to start a world war!" Echo shouted back. Was she the only one who saw something wrong with this?

Reece was relieved to see Nik and Annabelle approach, "What happened?" she asked nervously, getting straight to the point

Jace looked over at Rose, no, not her too. Jace grabbed Rose's arm and pulled her away from the rest of the crowd.

Beven nodded in agreement with Jade

Jade stayed queit thought she didn't believe a word of this. She looked around for any other mutants. "That one girl who screamed about humans could be one." Jade mumbled to Bevan.

Darla took a breath to continue speaking. The crowd shushed immediately and she said,"We do not wish for war." She smiled sadly and went on, "I wish you would see my dear child that this is the only way for life to continue on our planet. The unenhanced will not benefit it. Haven't you seen the signs of rapid global warming and many other man-made problems? Humans are the problem. Only the enhanced can save us all."

Beven nodded in agreement with Jade, "Or at least she's not brainwashed."

Echo pressed harder, "Enhanced one? Dont tell me you have an army going out to shoot us all in the head as we stand here now?" she asked angerly

"Your delusional!" Stephanie screamed in a different voice.

Rose frowned. "Let me go!" Rose turned around and shouted. "The one light! Kill the humans!"

"Rose!" Jace shouted forcefully, "Let it go, your being delusional!" she screamed, trying to break through the mind washing

Rose shoved Jace. "no! Die humans!" Rose chanted. She ran up to the front of the crowd.

"Rose!" Jace yelled and turned invisable, charging after Rose

Rose made Jace fly backwards with her mind. "Stop!" She screamed to Jace. Then Rose snapped out her wings. "Ms Carla! I am a beautiful creation. You see I have wings. I want to follow the one light!" Rose shouted. "The humans must die!" She added.

"That would be inhumane. We would never do such harm." Darla cried out desperately,"We aren't monsters. We're doing what's best. I'm sad that you can't see it." a tear ran down her cheek.

Stephanie looked at the girl with wings. "Reece!!!!" she hisses to Reece.

Nik shrugged, "I just needed some air." He said, turning his attention to the stage.
