The Hawk and His Boy discussion

What would you rate the content of this book? Any bad language or sexual comments? I don't want him to read something that is more for teens. He loves mystery and scary stories.

Just finished this and can not recall any overt sex references. I can't comment definitively on bad language as I wasn't reading it with that in mind, but I don't think there's any of that, either.

It's a traditional fantasy with magic and fun. One of the main characters is a boy (obviously) so your son might like that.
Of course, all adventures contain danger and treachery. I gave it high marks in my review.

If you're looking for good clean fantasy, The Magic of Recluce series is very, very good. I forget which one is first, but it's excellent. I don't recall anything sexual.
