Jinx was originally born in the Middle Ages in England under the name of Samuel Grey. He acted in many of Shakespeares plays and was a celebrity of the time period. He got the lead for the new play, Macbeth, over his rival, Johnathan Cunningham. When Samuel was asleep in his newly built home, all lavishly furnished and expensive, Johnathan set it ablaze. Samuel, along with his wife and baby boy were killed in the fire. Samuel was sent to Hell because of iniquities when he was a teenager and was tortured into being a demon, while the rest of his family was sent to heaven.

Personality: Carson has a give-em-hell attitude. He is very abrasive, and not usually the go-to person for anything even remotely touchy-feely. He makes up for his rudeness in hunting. He is one of the best in the business, and even helped Sam and Dean a few times, but managed to stay off the radar.
Despite his hard skin, he isn't the shoot-first-ask-questions-later type of person. When he is in a difficult situation, he thinks things through and uses common sense to come to a conclusion. He also knows when he's beaten, which is why he never loses.
Deep down, Carson is sensitive, and does actually care. But he doesn't let it show because he sees emotion as a weakness. If someone came to him with a problem, he wouldn't hesitate to help them.
History: Carson's life definitely hasn't been easy. His mom was killed by a werewolf when Carson was 7 years old. That's when hunting became a reality for him. His dad remarried a witch. Literally. It took a few years for Carson to even see what his stepmother was. But when he found out at the age 17, he used the knowledge he had found from reading the Supernatural fanfictions, and killed her.
After he offed his stepmother, his grief-stricken father kicked Carson out of the house with only the weapons he had managed to steal beforehand. For 10 years, he has been on the streets and hasn't slept in a regular bed.

Some think he may be the Alpha of Hell Hounds.
History: The King of Hell created Carter out of curiosity. When the King found he liked what he saw, he kept the beast, training it to capture the souls of those pesky humans who happened to make a deal. Carter grew up with the King and they are inseparable. Carter really enjoys his job.
