Emmanuelle and I have talked about that, and she said that she really doesn't want to do a "book club" type thing.

A lot of the other groups have them. The challenges, I don't know much about, but with the BOTMs and AOTMs there tends to be a lot of voting, sometimes starting with a genre of the month and narrowing it down from there. Some do an indie author showcase.

As this is the Young Writer's Group, Paolini probably wouldn't be a bad start.

Another group I'm in has an AV club. It's a horror-themed group so it's generally horror movies, but y'all could limit it to movies made from books.

Yes I didn't want to do it but, now I am more open to the idea.

I think maybe we should add some polls to our group. Add polls that has questions that will allow us to get to know one another better.

Maybe you and I can talk about getting a book started....

I know this not a role-playing group but maybe we should let people do some role-playing on the side. Role-playing can be about anything really. It is just merely a suggestion to help get this group to be more active. It is okay to discard this idea.

The role-playing can start after our group start reading a book or something. Or we can simply let people do their role-playing base on anything.

If you decide to RP, then I won't be joining in on that, but y'all will do just as well without me on the RP stuff. :)
