I always thought Tatiana was the youngest of the 3 Lightwoods and she was just Will's age. This is from Clockwork Prince:

"Their sister--her name is Tatiana, by the way; she was named after her mother's dear friend, who was Russian--was twelve years old, I think."

"Twelve?" Tessa was horrified.

Will exhaled. "I see you have already decided for yourself what happened," he said. "Would it ease your mind further to know that I myself was twelve?..."

But anyway, my copy of Clockwork Princess has the family tree on it and I noticed the year they were born:

Tatiana - 1857
Gideon - 1858
Gabriel - 1860
Will - 1861

So does that mean that Tatiana was really the eldest? Minor detail but it got me curious. What do you guys think?

Given the years in the family tree, I guess we should assume she is the eldest. However, I always thought that Gideon was the eldest,Tatiana was the middle child, and Gabriel was the youngest.

Me too, I thought Gideon was the eldest xD oh well Cassie must have changed it or overlooked it.

Yeah, I guess so. It's funny that I never really paid much attention to it before when I first saw the family tree.

wait if ahe was born in 57 and Will was born in 61 they wouldn't both be twelve at the same time...he'd be twelve and shed be sixteen...hmmmmmmmmm:p

I know, I found that incredibly odd. It doesn't make any sense if they were both twelve and yet Tatiana's supposed to be four years older than Will.

Yeah that's why I got confused. When I saw the family tree, I was like "Wow, so 16 y/o Tatiana had a crush on 12 y/o Will." and then I remembered that scene from Clockwork Prince and Will said they were both 12 at the time, so they should be the same age o.o

but how is that possible? didnt it just say that will was also twelve?

Im sorry, but im confused. I wouldve thought Gideon was the oldest..

Yeah, maybe it was an error on the family tree or something.
