A Demigod's Journey discussion

This is how our camp pays for all its expenses. We have a cover called Delphi Strawberry Service that sells strawberries and we would love it if you would take the time to pick strawberries for us!

"why would my dog be here?" she asked alfy quietly.

Alfy walked through the all the strawberries, smiling. He picked one and popped it in his mouth. "So... You new here?" He asked Nyx.

"been here a couple years i just went on an errr vacation," her version of vacation is going to visit her grandmother who gives her money and art supplies then she leaves

"Cool," he said and wiped off his mouth, "oh and I have no idea why your dog would be up here." He smiled mischievously. "See, you fell into my trap. Nobody ever comes up here with me. Nobody but you, that is."

"umm why is that," she said with a look that expressed the feelings of are you going to kill me

"I don't know!" He said, a little hurt, "Why are you giving me that look?"

"i dont exactly trust very easily," she explained then sat down her legs tiered she had to run she didnt just walk walking was more tiering

He ate another strawberry but grew a grape vine from the ground and starting eating grapes instead. "I'm not gonna hurt you or anything... I'm a nice guy I swear," he chuckled.

she offered a shy smile
"so who's you godly parent?" she asked

He looked at the grapes then back at her. "Dionysus duhhhh," he rolled his eyes then pointed at her "just a shot in the dark here but I'm guuueessinnnggg.... Nyx is your mom?" He asked somewhat sarcastically.

she laughed
"and guess what my names is," she said smiling

"You look like a Beth," he tried and smiled real big at her, "but I bet I'm wrong. So what is it?"

"yes it is my name is actually nyx. my dad named me that cuz my mom reminded him of greek mythology he didnt know she was a goddess," nyx explained then reached for a grape

"You definitely remind me of Nyx to," he said and smiled, "but maybe like a cool modern Nyx without all the weird gothic-ness."

she smiled
"you know i could be all gothy if ya want," she joked and winked "ya know your probably the only person here i've actually talked too,"

Alfy smiled at her then looked back at his grape vine and picked another. "Oh don't change yourself just for me," he laughed

she laughed "well i need to find my dog wanna help?" she asked as she stood and brushed dirt off her butt

Alfy tried not to watch her do that. "Yeah of course. Ummm would he be in the forest Maybe? Or even at the lake?"

"probably the lake thats where i first found him."

He smiled. "Sweet lets go." He grabbed a couple strawberries and headed off, the vine disappearing as he did.

she followed him quietly hating the slow pace "race ya there," with that she dashed off
