So here's a question for y'all. Which books attracted you? Did you find me through the Fiends tales or stumble upon Garaaga? Which are your faves? Do you enjoy books that take place in the nitty gritty here and now, or the stories that have happened in the ancient past? Enlighten me.

I was looking at Podiobooks.com a couple of years ago and your title Tattoo attracted me. Because, well, I like tattoos.:) Podcasts were a new thing for me and I had no idea who you were or what you wrote. Not long after I listened to Tattoos and Closet Threats, I ordered Fiends in hardcover.

It's hard to tell if I prefer Fiends or Garaaga. And I don't want to give spoilers by being specific in the why. But Garaaga is special to me just because I learned latin in my teens and I've been a fan of mythology and ancient history since then.

My favs would be, not in a particular order and in no way meaning I don't like the others: Lovers, Tattoo, Interlopers, Momma, Hunters. I liked Closet Threat a lot but it's a bit slower paced, so it's a fav but not in the top ones.

Ally (allycats86) | 4 comments I found you through the fiends tales. In fact, I'm pretty sure GC hadn't even been released yet. Anyway, the first story I listened to was Closet Treats. It's hard to find really good horror and this story was just what I was looking for. I enjoy the other fiends tales, but Closet Treats and Tattoo are my favorites so far.

Between fiends and GC, it's hard to pick a favorite. Both series are so interesting and I haven't come across anything like them before. Normally I prefer stories that take place in the here and now, so I was surprised at how much I liked GC.

BigJohn | 1 comments I started with Closet Treats, then Tattoo, and then the rest of the Fiends tales. One of my favorite is Momma. I'm a little behind on Garaaga's children, but it's in my queue. I, like everyone else, love Cooley's voicing of female characters. Those are my favorites. ;D

The ladies at Balticon have banned me from ever doing female voices again. Which is one reason why I've employed several different actors to handle those parts. So, John, you won't get those again. Unless, of course, it's in The Street series where all bets are off.

Anthony (beanchef) | 3 comments Did someone say "more Street stories"? ooo goodie.
The voices in my head are itching to come out again.

Anthony (beanchef) | 3 comments I would say Closet Treats. It got me really liking horror stories again. I especially like the slow burn way it gets under your brain and gets me to imagine even worse/gory/horrible things than what is on the page. That, and I still can't hear an ice cream truck drive by without feeling a bit spooked.

Damn you Lord Fiendy!

Matt McRoberts (nemesis0) | 7 comments I stumbled upon you on Podiobooks among other authors i was listening too. It was before the Garaaga's Children so i guess it'd be the Fiends stories that attracted me. First ones i listened too were the shorter stories before I would commit to listening to longer stuff. Canvas was one of the first ones and I really liked that one.

A M H | 1 comments I also found you by podiobooks, with "Tattoo", a few days ago. After that I couldn't stop listening to more and more of your books! I was a mental illness fan not too long ago but now your books have got me back to the genre again but this time with you mix of horror. Thanks! :D So far my favorite is "Closet Treats".
