Brandon was walking away from practice, out of breath.

Sarah was nearby so she ran to catch up with him.
"Hey Brandon!Did you just get out of basketball practice?"

He nodded. "Yep."

"Eww gross!"Sarah said pinching her nose "You smell really bad you should go home and take a shower."

He playfully shoved her.

She shoved him back.
"Got you back."

He grinned.

They started to walk home when Sarah asked,
"Did you know that the senior prom is comeing up very fast?And I still don't have anyone to take me."

He grinned. "Sucks for you, doesn't it." He sighed and draped an arm over her shoulders. "But alas, I am alone as well."

Sarah blushed then said,"W-would you mind taking me?"

He raised an eyebrow. "Why would I mind taking you, old friend? We've known each other since second grade."

She jumped up and hugged him and said,"Thank you so much Brandon!"

He hugged her back, laughing. "Always so excitable."

She giggled then said,"I'll see you tomorrow at school I guess.Considering that we're at your house already."

He laughed. "OK."

"Bye!"

"Ciao!" He walked into his house.

The next morning."HEY! Brandon wake up!"It was Sarah

He woke up. "How did you get in? Mom let you in again, didn't she?"

"yup!"she smiled

He groaned. "You're hereby dubbed my personal alarm clock." He sat up and rubbed his eyes.

"Sorry.But if you dont hurry you'll be late to school!" Said Sarah

He looked at the clock. "I have forty minutes."

"I know I want to show you something that I found on the way home yesterday" she smiled,"and if you dont hurry then we will be late."

He rolled his eyes. "Fine..."

She waited by the front door so he could change.

He got changed and came out to the living room.

"Come on lets go!"she said exitedly

He grabbed his bag. "OK."

They walked toward the school but right before they reached the street Sarah said to turn right.
"Theres a spot I want to show you that I found"She said"It's just up ahead"

"What is it?" He asked, following her.

They continued down the street for a few minutes and then sarah said,"we're here!"In front of them was a beautiful pond not a huge one but a semi-large one.
"I found it while on my 'scheduled explorations'.Isn't it pretty?"she asked

He raised an eyebrow and nodded.

The water on the pond sparkled in the sunlight while they stood and watched. Meanwhile someone was watching them. Steven a boy who goes to the same school and is in the same classes was spying on them. He was spying on them because he had a huge crush on sarah.

He smirked and ran into the water.

"Hey what are you doing?"said sarah giggling

He grabbed her arm and pulled her in. "Having fun, what's it look like?"

Sarah giggled and splashed him totally forgeting about the time.When she remembered there was only 20 minutes until school was going to start and said,"Brandon we're gonna be late to school if we don't hurry.I kind of for got about the time."Sarah looked embarressed

He shrugged and laid back. "So be it!" He said dramatically. "It's not like the principle is gonna come knocking on our door saying, 'do you know where your child is?'"

"Maybe we can be a little late,"said sarah she sat down then continued,"I haven't been late yet so who cares."

He shrugged. "Exactly."

steven was behind a tree next to the pond,(yes he was still there).Sarah laid down and immidiatly fell asleep.

Brandon chuckled.

((well didn't you look at the character chart?))
It was well past noon by the time Sarah woke up. she sat up and rubbed her eyes,"huh? What time is it?"she said looking around

((Yeah, remember, we talked about it at school))

"Um... sometime after noon..."

"I slept that long?!"said sarah
as a matter of fact it was almost five(yikes).
"mom's probbably worried as heck right now!"

He shrugged. "You obviously didn't sleep last night."

Sarah blushed, he was telling the truth, she had stayed up all night studying for the test that is on thursday.
"Yeah I kinda stayed up all night studying for the test tomorrow."

He chuckled.

"what about you. did you study?"she asked
