Entdecked by Garima in the hinder-catalog section of a Dalkey book. There are numerous numbers of reasons why someone oughta be reading her. Any of us. He Who Searches, for instance.

It's funny, I don't think of her as "buried"--people who read in Spanish probably read her as much as many other authors, and several of her stories are included in Spanish textbooks anywhere from the intermediate area up to advanced lit courses--her work's not very hermetic, so it lends itself to interpretation at the lower levels. And it's an interesting way to put forth the topic of politics and what happened in Argentina in the 70's-80's.

The BBC is confessedly leaning towards a harsh Anglo-bias :: and because in the USofA, very little literature in translation gets read, we try to compensate. Also, a number of other reasons why she's BURIED here, but not there.
Please link here any reviews you may have of her books.
And, Welcome!
I would love to read your review George but alas, when I click on the link, there's no review. The lizard's tail is one of my favorite books and eagerly look forward to reading your review!

I wonder if you can simply find it on the Lizard's Tail page since there are only a handful of reviews for it: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
I also have a similar version up on a site I run here: https://thecollidescope.wordpress.com...
Thanks for your interest, my friend.
