I thought Digital Fortress was simply an amazing read. Dan Brown might have made his millions with The Da Vinci Code, but this book really struck accord with me.-Tom
I have read all books of Dan. And I'll place this book in my favorites for sure. Plot was very nicely built and maintained till the end. Thumbs up to Dan Brown..!
this book blows my mind. the math and work in it is just insane. love how complicated it is because it makes it perfect.
i like when Becker have to go to another person to another person again, made my head spins a lot XD
Awesome book...one of the best Sci-fi thrillers that i hav read...but still I feel Angels and Demons and Da Vinci Code were better...
This book was incredible.I love all of his books but this is one of my faves because of the intricate tie ins with cryptography and who doesn't love a gd puzzle!!
It is the most wonderful book that i have ever read. There are so many things that you may learn from this book.Dan Brawn is an amazing writer.
This was better than Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons for me. Both of the those books had a similar plotline. This was entirely different.
Wow...Looks like I am in a minority here because I absolutely hated it. I gave it one star and only because I couldn't put zero. I thought that the plot was very predictable and so-called unbreakable code was child's play. JMHO.
honestly I didn't like i , it had a couple of surprises but that was it , I wasn't that big of a fan of the characters either maybe I shouldn't have read this after The Davinci Code , Angels and Demons and The Lost Symbol , I still like all 3 of them over this .

Each to their own I guess!
It's a good book, not a very good one. The plot was predictable as you said. However, I think the most boring thing was the narration style. It felt like a film script not a novel. I had to skip some lines in several pages.
I liked it, but I didn't LOVE IT. Personally, I thought it was kind of predictable.
I actually knew the answer off the top of my head to the "prime difference" question, so I thought it was too easy. Another complaint is the whole twist of who hired the assassin. As to the science behind the decryption machine, I think unfortunately it's pure fiction.
All in all though, I apparently gave it a 3.
Found it OK if a little predictable. The characters were all rather stereotyped. But a good easy holiday read.
Brown has not written many novels, so a superlative is a little risky. Nonetheless, since I have read them all, I think Digital Fortress is the best.
Digital Fortress was very educational and informative for me especially knowing about cryptography or deciphering the codes.
This book makes an interesting read.. It's surprising that this is one book by Brown that doesn't contain a lot of 'facts' contrary to his other books. This was one of the reasons, I think, I could related to it. (Though his 'factual' books, sure, are informative.. I doubt how far they are true but I'd like to believe they're true nevertheless)
Digital Fortress was with Dan Brown touch. As usual he took the reader with him from beginning to end. A wonderful book, amazing story line, a must read for fiction lovers.
I think this book was as good as the other Dan Brown's books. You start reading and cannot stop until you're at the end. Must read book.
No, it's not a good novel. But it is typical for Brown.Of course, this book is worse that Angels and Demons and even worse that da Vinci Code. Just about something so...cooked-up. Boring.
Agreed. This is a favorite of mine from Dan Brown, and same for my husband. It was hard to put down once you started reading.
