My emotions usually go through my stories, whether it is directly or not. (Like sometimes my story is not about the emotion I am feeling.)
I also like conflict stories, so the news really helps me a lot. News stories get my mind thinking which usually results in a story's.

The sky. If you look into the sky it seems infinite, and you have time to think about everything so that might inspire you.
I usually get inspired by something that is going on in my life. It definitely depends on the story though. Every single character that I create has a little pice of me in them.Music is definitely another thing that inspires me (after all, I am a musician... sort of :P) I can't write anything without music.
This is going to sound really stupid and probably make zip sense...Sometimes when I'm bored I'm inspired to write. Because thoughts sort of get all up in my head when I'm not doing anything. So to get them out I do things like write stories or music etc... :/
I'm extremely confusing........ like when it is completely quiet in school, I can't focus on my work because i am thinking. When it is loud, I can focus because my kind isn't thinking about random stuff.

hmm... so many things inspire me; I listen to music when I write, but the ideas come from just random thoughts I get and then I try to make it into a story. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but I must be doing something right cuz I've got over 10 stories and 4 full books!Emotions and real life scenarios really fuel writing for me. Or things that I'd like to have happen.
lol yeah, I get that too... the hard part is sticking with it.. just write down any ideas ya get and just write! worry about plot lines, facts/spelling etc later. you can always try writing about your life seen from someone else's POV...I did that once.
I think for me it's music, movies, and other books.
Other books... I literally bookmark half of my book I'm reading from finding creative ways the writer wrote or different quotes I loved. I also listen to music.. A LOT! When there something that makes my ear perk up I'll write it down and come up with short stories or just a sentence about that line of the song...
Or sometimes when I'm surrounded by silence I let my thoughts flood my brain and they help me come up with plots for different stories..
Absolutely, and positively before I go to sleep. Thinking is all I do then. It really helps. Also things that you see and read, you think, "Oh, that'll work with this, and this will work with that!"

Oh my gosh! I do that too!!! Before I go to bed is when I get all my good ideas!

During long car rides I look at the window and think...
Anything, really. I spend a lot of time just thinking to myself, and sometimes I come up with a scenario that I realize could be a good story! Also, writing prompts/exercises help me a lot.
I'm inspired by tiny things. Things I do, things I want to do, colors, songs, other stories. The lkst goes on and on!
ugh... not lkst. I meant list.
Stupid spell-check.
Stupid spell-check.
A few authors have inspired me to write
I get inspired by all kinds of things. Quotes and photographs especially. And reading a really good book or watching a great movie almost always makes me want to write!
I get inspiration from tons of stuff too. Right now/recently most of mine has been from the song Baba O'Rielly by The Who.
Movies, Books, Songs, Characters, Quotes, Places.
