Ah there it is. Important to remember that some Turkish authors write at their peril. And knowing this, how does it impact the books we see?

Betty | 3706 comments Jenny, writings from Turkish and international writers are found in a book from PEN--Writers Under Siege: Voices of Freedom from Around the World. Ken Saro-Wiwa and Orhan Pamuk, both writers on our 2013 reading program, are included among the contributors.
