Personality: Lua is very cautious not to trust or depend on people too easily. she is usually on her guard and she swears that she won't let it down. Lua is quiet and prefers a more strategic way of defeating opponents instead of head-on battle like her twin, Trevas Morte Assassinato. Lua is mean and dirty when you get her mad, she's rude and loves vulgarities but is prevented from mentioning any with Ally Flight by her side, which is a considerable amount of time.

No one gave any attention to her except her own twin brother, Trevas Morte Assassinato. Thanks to him, the both of them managed to sneak away and inform their neighbors. Lua, since then, blamed herself for not being strong enough to help her parents and her brother.

Relationship: Best friends with Ally flight and sister of Trevas Morte Assassinato.
Pet: A small pet crow named Destruir (Destroy in Portuguese)

Hair Color
Adair finds her hair quite uncooperative. Because of its length, it's constantly getting into her face when flying. Adair's tresses fall down in semi-wavy locks to the small of her back. Adair considers her auburn hair a nuisance and prefers to keep it tied up where it can't bother her.

Eye Color
Adair considers her eye color her dullest feature. She sees it as a brown, but most see it as more of a golden shade. Adair doesn't really care either way. To her, all that matters is that they function properly.

Skin Tone
Adair has never been one to tan. If she spends too much time in the sun, she'll become as red as a crab. Adair has always been a fair skin toned girl. Her cheeks, however, redden immensely when she's embarrassed.

Body Structure
Adair stands at a little over average height at 5'7", but weighs in at a mere 110 pounds. She's always been a slim one, no matter her food intake. And although Adair has no real bulk, she has a form that shows a healthy, athletic lifestyle.

Specific Markings
Adair has no body markings that could help identify her. Although she had freckles at a younger age, they faded away as she grew. She's never been one for tattoos or piercings, so the only holes in her are her ear piercings.

Wings
Adair's wings are simply breathtaking. They aren't exactly alike, which make them something else altogether. Adair's right wing has solid black feathers as the wings draw closer to her back. There's no doubt that Adair's a timeless natural beauty. From her porcelain skin, to her delicate features, it is easy to see why so many hope to court her someday. Although she may not see it at the moment, Adair is in fact, a rare gem.

"When does it end..."

Perhaps it's the spaced out look in her eyes. Perhaps it's her half smile. Maybe it's even her occasional laugh. Whatever reason it may be for, many seem to believe Adair is completely satisfied with herself. They believe she likes who she is, that she likes her life. Quite untrue.

Adair would much rather be six feet under than continue to live the way she has. She'd trade everything she possesses-- her looks, her friends... her wings-- everything for a family. But unfortunately, that is not possible, so for now, she is stuck living the life she doesn't want. For now, she is Adair.


How do you thoroughly explain Adair? How do you cage a willow-wisp in a bottle? She's like a harsh summer breeze: cold, unexpected, and not always welcome. Nevertheless, the girl possesses her fair amount of charm and kindness. She can be witty and humorous when feeling up to it. She can be cold and caged off when needed. The latter occurs more often than anything.

Adair's a mystery all in her own. One minute she'll be Miss Jekyll, dotting her i's and crossing her t's, all in proper etiquette and manner. The next, she'll be Jacqueline Hyde raging and roaring and tearing down anything that's in her way. Some may say she's bipolar, but that's untrue. Adair knows perfectly well who she is. She just feels the need to switch things up every now and then.

According to the information provided above, most would perceive Miss Adair as a cruel, heartless girl. Charming and quite fascinating, but heartless nevertheless. This could be no farther from the truth. As said before, Adair can be cruel when she wants to be. This does not mean she is necessarily a sour person all the time. In fact, if you somehow reach Adair's heart-- believe me, she has one-- you'll find she's as kind and endearing as a mother. However, her kindness only comes with trust, something you must earn.

{History} There's not much Adair can tell. Like most Hybrids, she doesn't remember anything further back than getting her wings. Even if Adair knew any further information, it's unlikely she'd reveal it. She does, however, remember one distinct memory from her childhood...

Little Adair toddles into the kitchen. Seeing her mother is not present, she quickly grabs a chair and silently drags it over to the kitchen counter. Careful not to make a sound, she climbs onto the chair and reaches for the cookie jar. Suddenly, a chair leg breaks and the chair topples over, bringing Adair down with it. Adair's mother rushes in, a look of concern ceasing her face. It is replaced, however, with a look of sheer disgust when she spots Adair, laying on the floor. She storms over and grabs her daughter roughly by the arm, standing her upright. A quick, but loud smack is received, followed by another and another, all to Adair's cheek. After her third smack, Adair looks into her mother's eyes, tears unshed. It is clear she has experienced this before.
"What do you have to say?" her mother barks.
"Sorry mummy." young Adair says obediently, monotone like a robot programmed to say so.
"Good girl. Now mommy is going to have to lock you in the closet Addy, dear. You may come out in one hour so you can fix the chair."
"Yes mummy."


The rest of the memory is cut off.

{Relationship/Crush} Adair is currently single and not looking for a relationship.

{Pet} Adair would love a pet, but she doesn't believe she could care for it. The idea of dragging a dog or cat along also scares her to death. Anything that will slow her down, in Adair's mind, is bad.

|| ♛ || Morty holds a certain appeal, a certain undead appeal that some people can't get enough of. You'd be surprised how many necrophiliacs there are out there. She has an extremely pale complexion, which she maintains by carrying around an umbrella. Her hair is a similar color as her skin, a milky white blonde in certain lights tipped at the bottom with black. The fine hairs are somewhat curly, and require a lot of grooming to stay in the perfect manner they're usually in. She often grows her hair out because of the seasonal means, but it's kept short otherwise.

Her eyes are incredibly red, blood red really, lined by thick and long lashes. Her lips are a luscious shell pink color that stands out against the rest of her skin, and she has a mole just above it. Her left eye is covered by an eye patch, due to some circumstances in her birth. Her face is heart shaped, and her figure that of a coke bottle, with a bit more finesse at the top. She's full chested, much to her dismay, because of how uncomfortable she feels with people staring at her. She's more towards the short side, standing at a vertically challenged height.

Her voice is deep and sultry, with faint accenting. The accents get deeper with irritation, excitement, or anger. It's a difficult thing to go through, as a person so out of place. She much loves her voice, really, and finds it to be a good asset. However, that would apply if she really gave a flying fuck about seducing people. And, besides, the living aren't as interesting as the dead.

• Hair Colour: Her hair is a similar color as her skin, a milky white blonde in certain lights tipped at the bottom with black. However, in certain lights her hair is slightly darker in color.
• Eye Colour: Her eyes are incredibly red, blood red really. In certain lighting, her eyes can be a deep, dark color. Other times, when it's a brighter setting, her eyes sort of become a hazy gold, mostly because her eyes are, you know, decaying. Her left eye, in particular.
Distinguished Marking(s):
• Threaded Arms and Legs
With a body that's dead, accidents tend to happen often. The nerve endings are still all there, and working perfectly fine, but there are times when they shut down unexpectedly. Morticia has experienced this on a number of occasions, and the results are always missing limbs. She's been trampled over twice, and had a run in with an admirer who'd heard rumors of a girl who's legs had been severed from her body. He had an amour for arms, and if you can guess, decided he'd have hers.

She's had to sew herself together once or twice, both her arms and legs. They still work as they should, the nerve endings having reconnected.

• Left Eye
At birth, Morticia's left eyes wasn't entirely in the socket, or formed. It was found in her mouth, as opposed to where it should've been. It's not exactly an awesome thing to have happen, but they managed to fix it. She has to take it out every now and then for cleaning, but it's mostly kept in a jar. So, she keeps an eye patch over her left eye socket.


• Height: She stands around six feet, although she can't be positive. She has to take into account the drying over skin, which shortens her height as the skin shrivels.
• Weight: The weight is unknown, but she is light. She just needs to work on keeping her limbs on. This also changes with the development of her body, or the deterioration of it. Depends on how she's feeling.
• Wings: Morticia's wings are large in size, but not so excessively large that it's a great hassle. In color, they are a raven black, fitting for her really.

{Style}
Morticia is more of a pastel goth, and prefers to wear sweaters with leggings. Just because they get in the way, doesn't mean it doesn't look nice. Her shoes are another matter, as she wears heeled boots most of the time. Doesn't matter the color, so long as they match.

Withstanding Pain:
You see, there are many wonderful things that can happen when you're dead. Nerves shut down, and bowels halt all slowing processes. This would mean that whatever's in your system just goes. This is easy for Morticia, and she's become a master at being dead to the world. When something's already dead, they're not much fun--unless you're gonna do the horizontal tango.
Knowledge of Anatomy:
Knowing what to hit has to be the biggest advantage over someone, besides being able to hit it. One can be seen as respectfully dangerous if they can name exactly what hurts more than the other parts, 'cause people don't like pain. Under the assumption that the victim is a masochist, then she's pretty good in bed. Otherwise, you might just be bleeding out.
Cooking:
Morticia is an excellent cook. Though she doesn't actually need to cook for herself, on account of her not needing to eat cooked food, she enjoys the activity. It can get a bit hazardous, as her thread is very quite flammable and has caught on fire a few times.

Sewing:
When you've had to sew yourself together a multitude of times, you tend to get pretty good at. This is a great asset because being able to stitch a person up can mean the difference between life and death. As much as she would be inclined to grace someone with the afterlife and use their bodies for other purposes, she will in fact save a life. Grudgingly. This skill also enables her to make her own clothing, which comes in handy with her line of work. There isn't a time when something is spilled that she can't just rip the fabric and fix it. It's indeed a useful skill to learn, and can also be entertaining. It works as a good pass time when you're six feet under, and could potentially help you find a dashing young partner who saves you just in time before you nearly walk in the way of a carriage.
Seeing and Speaking with the Dead:
You know the phrase, I see dead people? Well, Morticia sees them on the daily. This somewhat contributes to the idea of her being "off her rocker," as she can both see and speak to the souls of the deceased. This is a useful task, because you never know what's around the corner. There could be a crook in the cobbling, just waiting to tip you up and make you break your neck! Sometimes, the ghosts aren't as nice she'd like them to be. They can't all be Casper the Friendly Ghost. As much as this is a terrible thing, there are upsides to it: people don't nag and they tend avoid crazy people who talk to air. It's a pleasant, and simple, way to keep people out of your business, unless they pull the "concerned citizen" card. Then, things don't work out all to well.
Reanimation:
Reanimation is the biggest strength that she has. Bringing a body to life is like creating something extra for protection. The body has no soul, thank the heavens, and no longer feels pain. This means that they would get back up no matter what you did to them. This also means that they won't tire out, due to being dead and all. They are more so zombie-esque, but are always on high alert. The body would maintain the image of the deceased-- as in carry the personality traits with a classy touch of soulless-- and also work on instinct. At times, that would seem like a very bad thing, but it can be helpful. Since the human body is driven more by needs and instinct, they're easier to control. And the greatest instinct is the one propelled towards survival. So, why not listen to the person who keeps you alive?
Skeletal Formation:
Skeletal formation is really just the forming of objects and creatures using bones. It's a simple technique that can be expanded upon, the way the Graves have. It's like coming armed to a fist fight, and isn't really all that necessary. However, it can come in handy often. They eliminate the need for certain necessities, as you can create workers to do everything for you. It's similar to Reanimation, but at the same time is not. This art is really, quite actually, hard to describe unless seen, and is not often seen on a large scale action.

Speculating on it, Morticia is really quite the useful creature. She'd be more likely to survive a threat than most would think, and could save lives if she felt the need to. Her power is something she takes pride in, though she'd never admit to it. Who would? Most arrogant people die, and stupid people do as well. So where does that leave Morticia?

❛ WEAKNESSES ☇ ♛
Slow Descent into Madness:
Yes, this is indeed a weakness. When you're dead, see and talk to the dead, and control the dead, you tend to go a bit insane with both the power and the infinite creations. The living forever--possibly-- is also a brain-wrecking thing. The thought of out-living people you know--maybe-- can often times be a bit too much. And, with the haunting, it gets pretty close to insane. However, the thing that tops the cake is Morticia's empathy. Empathy to be explained in Personality
Heart Failure
You'd think she wouldn't have to worry about this, but she actually does. In case you weren't aware The heart is a hollow muscle that pumps blood throughout the blood vessels by repeated, rhythmic contractions. It is found in all animals with a circulatory system. This is a major artery that contributes to life. Even if Morticia is dead, her heart must still be pumping. Heart Failure is a common killer for Necromancers, and it's how they manage to even maintain a human facade. How it happens is inexplicable, but it does.
Haunted
This is where the slow decline into insanity occurs for most Necromancers. When they see ghosts, they see and feel those little transparent dicks shits. Since not all of them are kind and friendly, most of them would be angry. As in, majorly pissed. They don't have much of a way of showing it, but those who can see them, feel them, or hear them take the full blow of their anger. Necromancers are exactly what Poltergeists want. They can feel and see them, hear their wails, too. Unfortunately for Morticia, she picked the wrong place to move to.
Slow Reflexes
When the body is dead, or the nerve ending is dead, pain is delayed or not felt. This condition is similar to leprosy, in which the nerve endings have died and the body is continuing to live without feeling pain. Because of this, Morticia cannot feel pain. You would believe this to be great and dandy, which it can be, but it also slows down reaction times. Slowing down reflexes is like making someone unable to fight. It opens up places for attack, and also delays treatment to any wounds that may occur. The only thing that weighs this out is the missing heart. Since the heart is not there to pump blood, blood loss is slowed down significantly.
Physical Deterioration
The body is decaying. Simple as that. Since Morticia is dead, her body will deteriorate. However, she keeps it preserved using embalming liquids. This means that she needs to take at least one liter of embalming fluid a month, and that stuff is pricey. It's hard to make, but widely manufactured. That being said, it also messes with the body's natural functions, since the liquid is made for dead as opposed to living and moving bodies.

Along with her strengths, Morticia's weaknesses are just as costly to her. Seeing these makes you slightly more appreciative of life, but also makes you wonder about how alive you are, and how much longer you have left. The last thing Morticia needs is to find herself in a casket again.

Morticia is an interesting person to be around. She's an extremely empathetic soul. Her imagination is so very vast, and she can easily put herself in the place of others. It's to the point where she's borderline insane. She's analytic as well, and sometimes severs emotionally connections to those around her. When she is up to being socially and invested in relationships, she becomes a pillar of perverse conversation. Profanity is her game, and dirty jokes give her fame. Along with her intense imagination, she brings with her a dark sort of humor. She's very superstitious, and in that sense, has a deep fascination with birds. It could possibly be her softest side, as well as her love for children. She believes that there is a God, but that she is the sole creator of the universe. She won't hesitate to jump you if you try to contradict her.

Emotional Investment 101
Emotional connections other than familial ties? You needs those! Morticia is very guarded against emotional connections, and is resistant to attempts at friendship. It's not that she doesn't want them, but mostly that she's not the best with the living. She's had to deal with the dead for most of her life, and such has made her social interactions difficult and stiff. She does wish that there would be someone who at least tried to be friendly with her. It'd take some work, though. And a lot of time, and maybe a few deaths.

It's time to take things outside
Morticia can be very confrontational. She holds her opinions high, and everyone else's can go somewhere else. It's not that they're unimportant, she just doesn't care what people have to say. Again, she's used to being around people that don't speak, because they can't. The silence provided by the dead is a welcome comfort to her being so quick to take someone out. Unfortunately, this doesn't help her social skills any. You can only imagine how many friends she has with her interactions.

Is it true you fondle corpses?
If you can manage to capture her attention, you can get Morticia to actually speak with you without it being because of an unintentional insult. She's a potty mouthed young lady, with language worse than a sailor. Her family sees this as an endearing quality, but they're a bunch of twisted fucks, so that doesn't count. Prospective mates? They don't like it so much. Nor do they like how she tends to say things regarding intercourse in such an open manner. No one likes that. However, her biggest perversity is her open Necrophilia. She likes the dead things in life, a little more than she should. So, it's not unusual for her to get questions like, Is it true you fondle corpses? And, the answer is yes, she has. But that a phase that she grew out of, shortly before relocating herself.

Do I frighten you?
Morticia can be very intimidating. She gives off an air of anger, and when you see her in action, she can be pretty scary. This isn't the trait that she's most fond of, as it tends to push people away. Despite her inclination towards the dead, she does enjoy interacting with the living, and being an intimidating person doesn't often allow her to get said interactions. The eye patch does no help with this, either, as most would view her as some sort of villainous character. To speak truthfully, she's quite the opposite. But, not many people seem to be bale to get past the intimidating factor. If they do, it's usually to challenge her, and that leads to her confrontational nature kicking in and starting something the other participant might not be able to finish, or live through.

Down to business
Morticia doesn't like to beat around the bush. She goes in for the kill--figuratively, most of the time-- without hesitation. This is like speaking one's mind, but not really. She may tend to voice her opposition to something a complete stranger says or does, but she doesn't do it much. Unless it's something that vexes her greatly and she has to get it off her chest. When she has something to ask of people, she doesn't try to butter them up, but just asks. Most people see it as her being forceful, but it's actually better manners than you'd think. When she speaks wit a person, she also won't hesitate to tell them to do a multitude of things to leave her alone. That being said, she can be kinda annoying with how straight-forward she is.

What killed the cat? Stupidity.
Morticia is a curious creature, indeed. She likes to poke and prod things, not people, and see how they work. Said quality can make her slightly annoying, because once she finds something interesting, she will take liberties in thoroughly educating herself in the matter. This could be a

wonderful trait if used outside of her mannerism. Plenty of people have given her cold looks, or called her out for poking at something that think she shouldn't. She, however, carefully disregards them and moves on with her life. Er, undeadness.

Mind of a lion, soul of a lamb
(view spoiler) Being empathetic is usually something you'd like to see from someone, but it can be dangerous. In Morticia's case, it is. She can place herself in the mindset of just about anyone, and often rejects interaction because of it. it brings her to the point of being borderline insane, with slight traces of a multiple personality disorder. This hasn't been taken note of, as the severing of emotional connections usually does the trick. Otherwise, she's open to being changed--drastically.

Necrophilia:
This is to be expected, and if you didn't see earlier, Morticia likes the dead things of life. Needless to say, she prefers these out of anything else. She's had to deal with them on a daily basis, and she's perfectly fine with that. She loves how the silence is like a conversation with them. You can tell a story with what you see before you, even if they're just little details. It's the best thing in the world, and sometimes people are better off in death than they are in life. Besides that, they make better company when you're feeling down and need to talk to someone.
Nyctophilia:
Morticia loves the night. It holds all kinds of things. There can be danger and mystery, or maybe even romance to it. It's a very sentimental time for her, and she prefers to be out at this time. When the moon rises, the air is cooler and different characters come out to play. She finds this to be more interesting than the mundane, vain leftovers in the day time.
Pediophilia:
No, this is not the love of little children. That, my confused friend, would be Pedophilia. This is entirely different. This philia is the love of dolls. It's an unusual past time, but Morticia loves to make dolls. This is actually passed down through her family, this skill, and there are a few creatures who are forever grateful for the little shops they set up for this. However, these dolls are human. They've been gutted and "dolled up" to look just right. The process between life and death, is more so a secret than you really know.
Nemophilia:
This is her love of the woods. Morticia believes that you can find anything in the woods. If she had her way, she would live in a forest and never leave, but alas, civilization calls to her still. She thinks that the forest is where everything happens, every thing lives and dies in the nature of the trees. This is a liking that she'd had as a child, taking a plethora of walks in the calm silence of the trees. Many a time she had happened upon a dying creature, and taken it home to be revived. The forest is indeed filled with marvelous wonders in her eyes.
Arachnophilia and Ornithophilia:
Spiders ad birds interest Morticia greatly. She can't get enough of them, and does just about everything possible to have one or the other around, sometimes both. She sees them are greater than the many other creatures around her, although they don't quite compare to the dead. To top things off, they often lead her to the dead. Package deal, right? You could say that her interests are a bit..perverse, but they're just part of her. No need for anyone to get their knickers in a bunch because she knows how to find spider colonies, and every bird call there is to know.

Fire:
Fire can do a lot of damage when given the chance. It often times is what destroys a body to the point of corrupting every molecule with far too much oxygen than needed. It's a destructive force that can potentially end her life, er, undeadliness. It's also a means to destroy the things that she loves, and she won't tolerate it. Fire is most definitely not a friend of hers.
Humans:
As much as it may be part of her job to kill them, she doesn't particularly like them. They annoy her greatly, and she wants nothing more than to see them all dead. Yes, they can make pretty corpses, but that's besides the point. What she doesn't like is the way they live their lives. They take too many things for granted, and it gets on her nerves. They don't treasure much of anything, unless they're one of the smart ones. Otherwise, they won't last long in her presence.
Assumptions:
She hates 'em. Just can't stand it when people make assumptions to where she's form or what she does. They also seem to assume that she's not a good person based on her appearance. It's all fine and dandy until they actually accuse her of something. It leaves her seething with anger, and you really don't want that, trust me.

❝Mother Mine, Father Mine, I Do Believe It To Be Time❞

Before you can come to understand Morticia's history, you have to come to understand the Graves' family history. They have a peculiar history to look at, and must be handled delicately. It's terribly dreary, and riddled with enough tears to make the sweet perfume of sorrow to last a life time. To start, we must look into the life of the parents. The respective donors who created the magnificent Graves children:

Morgue Anne Cadviere and Decay Hemmorage Graves.

Morgue Anne was an only child in a family of undertakers. They traversed the globe in search of the prettiest corpses, the men in the family did. Among those many decaying brides was her mother. She was often falling to pieces, long before Morgue Anne was born. Her father did his best to patch her up nicely, just long enough for the sweet child to be born. When the labor was done, so was her mother.

Her father took her with him to many different places he needed to go. She grew to be a beautifully fair maiden, hair a red that had the shadings of black and skin a fair peach complexion. She was the most beautiful girl, where ever she went. She drew eyes and attention from just about everyone. What they were unaware of was the emotional abuse given to her by her father, as well as the physical. The cost having a necrophile and a corpse for parents is the knowledge you are given of how easily death comes. She spent her years of life with her father in constant fear of what he might do next.

Her only relief was the calming push of a needle through fabric. She handled the clothing for the corpses. She took her time to enjoy the simple craft, making a number of useful things that she still keeps. They've been passed down to Morticia, of course. However, her father was not so keen on such an action. He wanted his daughter to go out and marry a man who'd have her live a long life. He thought she had no need for such things.

Over the course of a year, she met with more suitors than she could count on her fingers. Whatever her father didn't like, as they were all human, he killed. There were a couple that Morgue Anne was more than happy see die. However, the worst one was the one her father loved the most. His name was of no relevance to her, because all she heard out of his mouth was Douchebag.

Her father happily accepted the young man, but Morgue Anne was more so reluctant to let him into her life. Without a mother, she didn't exactly have all the proper mannerisms that a lady needed in those times. Her fiancee was more than happy to point that out when he wanted to feel better about himself. He used terms so derogatory, I won't even bother to repeat them. Being a timid young lady, Morgue Anne did nothing but take the brunt.

But she snapped when he insulted her father.

She brutally murdered said fiancee, gutting him like cattle. That being said, it took her not very long to have the young man bleed out, but she wouldn't let it end at that. After slitting both his wrists and throat, she made sure to cut along the major blood veins. She wasn't so much excited by the sight of blood than she was to have killed the man. Her father, unfortunately for her, came in at just the wrong moment.

His anger was thrown at her full force, and she fought back. The end was result was her crying pitiful tears of dismay over the slowly cooling corpse that was once her father.

Morticia's father was another story cannot contrast from her mother's. He was born into a large family of children, but was left with two when the hunters first left their mark. They say the hardest thing a parent has to do is bury their child, but it's equally as hard for the other way around. Decay lost his father that an early age. The elder Graves had passed down the trade to his son: doll making.

These dolls came in different complexions, ages, and sizes. There was no discrimination when it came to choosing the right one, because there was no right one. They chose only who they thought to be suitable for the job, or was of the right time to go. Being a Graves has slightly more perks than one would think. Being able to smell when someone is close to death is among them. They chose only those who had not much time left to go, and made them the prettiest dolls to see.

These dolls were, of course, humans.

That being said, both Decay and his father were wanted serial killers, with a woman who was very pregnant with octuplets. Decay's mother happened to give birth to said children while in imprisonment, but that's a story for another time. Any who, Decay had a knack for luring the ladies in. It was his best point in the job, other than the actual gutting that had to occur.

One evening, the night his father died, he convinced a woman to walk to the shadowy parts of an alley, offering her many things. What waited for him, and later his father, was an ambush. The code for the Graves was to never stay in one place for too long, and this time they'd stayed for two weeks. An happening such as this was unheard of, and would remain that way.

Getting back to the ambush, his father was killed, more so concerned with protecting his fifteen year old son than his own life. He let himself be beaten to death by the angry townsfolk. Decay would have had the same thing happen to him, had he not run at the dying command of his father.

A single law passed through the mystical Gypsy community was to never bring family back. The action would be far too dangerous, and the consequences would be dire. To break this law was to die at the hands of the person you'd raised, and turn them into a demon.

That was not the life Decay wanted for his father, or the sorrow he wanted his mother to live with.

From that day on, Decay carried out his process a little differently. It was close to terrifying, the way he proceeded to do so. He cut them down like livestock, but once they were dead he treated them like they were royalty. He carried this spite for humans down to his daughter and son, Morticia and Petrus.

His siblings were handfuls, but his mother was worse in the months to come.

With two unstable minds spiraling into a downwards spiral, you can only imagine what could happen. His mother hung herself two years after his father's death, leaving him and his siblings on the street. Two of the eight toddlers contacted a common disease in the area, and died two weeks afterwards. The remaining six stuck close to Decay, as he was the only family they had left.

As the years passed and his sibling grew older, they were able to continue the family business. They set up shop in a single area, this one more populated with their kind. The decision had been right, and in this situation they prospered.

Or, at least they thought they did.

They were fooled by the illusion of community. The humans had caught on, and the Gypsies did nothing. The children scattered like rats off a sinking ship, and they lost contact for many years. Having already lost most of his family, the instability that was his mind crumbled.

He spent a better deal of a week slaughtering the whole town.

❝It's Good to be Dead❞

Being born a with further up abilities can do a number of things to you. For one, you're in the dark for hours, unable to see a thing as your eyes come back to life. However, when your eye ends up in your mouth, things are slightly different. It's so much more trippy to be bale to see out of your right eye and have complete darkness where your left eyes should be. Morticia's parents were unconcerned by that development, and found it to be just an endearing trait. Her older brother Petrus, six years her senior, thought otherwise.

Morticia spent the first few hours of her life having an eye removed from the roof of her mouth. Unlike most children, she calmly allowed the doctor to remove it. It was placed in a jar, staring back at her somewhat lovingly. The first sound to leave her mouth was a giggle, more so a gurgle of happiness.

This development was nothing in the many mangled limbs she'd have to face later on in life.

At the age of three, she discovered her liking for the night. She ran about catching fireflies one summer evening. Time ran away from her as she enjoyed her play of capturing the tiny insects and watching them glow in her small hands. Her parents were, again, unconcerned about leaving her out by herself. The moon was high over head when she realized how dark it was. A grin broke out onto her face, making her chubby cheek pucker out with dimples. She also discovered her love for spiders and birds in this manner, but that is to be gotten into later.

Shortly after that incident, her mother began teaching her to sew. The little activity was their way of bonding, other than when she was taught how to use her powers correctly. This skill was later put to use making dresses for her dolls. She became an expert at the task, quickly being able to do the most complex threading by the time she was six. Her slender fingers were of much help to her, along with the prompting of her mother, father, and elder brother.

The next event to happen was far more intriguing. This was her first corpse. She'd never seen one larger than a bird, and seeing a human was something she'd wanted. Her father had often spoke vehemently against them, and she had wanted to see how dangerous these creatures were. When her father pulled out the thin, bleeding young man, she saw exactly what her father and mother did.

Vermin.

This would only be the beginning of her boiling hatred for humans, and if anything, a prelude to her testament of ravishing human men.

❝Arms and Legs❞

When Morticia reached the age of fifteen, puberty had already worked its magic on her body. She was a beautiful young girl, without the proper mannerisms to be a lady, and widely sought out. Necrophiliacs were apparently quite common in that time, go figure. She didn't enjoy the attention, and wanted nothing more than to gouge every last one of their eyes out so they'd stop looking at her.

That was the last thing she needed.

She managed to get away from a particularly aggressive suitor, one night, and was heading home. What she hadn't been paying attention to was the carriage coming right at her as she turned a corner. Her dress, curse the damn things, caught onto the edge of the carriage and it dragged her a good ten miles out of town. Her legs had gotten tangled in the wheels, and were a broken mess of limb caught in the axle of the wheel. The driver was the only witness to her pulling herself from her legs. They had been severed from her thighs down, and she was bleeding terribly at this point.

However, the bleeding wasn't as bad as the driver had ever seen. What horrified him was the way she crawled back over to where her legs were hanging on the spokes of the wheel. Removing them carefully, she lined both back up in their rightful spots. She pulled out a needle and thread from her scalp, which looked to be very painful. If it was, the driver certainly hadn't seen it on her face. He nearly retched out the food he'd eaten at a tavern in town as she sewed her legs back on carefully.

It was a tricky business, but she was standing after a minute or so. With a stern warning and glare to the driver, she went on her way. (view spoiler) This was only the prologue to similar instances, including a rendezvous with a serial killer with a fetish for arms. He'd heard the stories and wanted to utilize them to the fullest extent.

This said serial killer approached her the same way that the other men did, but with more finesse: he bought her flowers. Something so simple isn't very significant, but when those flowers are dead, things get interesting. He was charming as well, and that worked in his favor. She was still naive to ways of men, and gladly accepted his proposal after a few months of his pursuit. That must have been what turned him off to the game, because he then tried what had planned to do from the very beginning: take her arms.

She was more than just a little unhappy to wake up and find that her arms were strewn over a drunk man, who was quite vigorously having a one man love session. She still had a bit of affection for him, so rather than kill him, she knocked him out cold. That was one wet dream he'd be sure to remember, of course.

She sewed her arms back on and moved the hell out. No way was she going to have to do that again, repeatedly.

Morticia returned home shortly after the fiasco of the serial killer, only to leave again when she feared for her parents. Well, more so concern than fear. She thought that he would come back to their home looking for Morty, so she packed up and went elsewhere. She didn't, however, leave until she was thoroughly educated in her species and well versed in the art of necromancy. She excelled at it, as her brother had before her. Petrus went with her as she left.

Now she's here, after separating with her brother.
