When Marvel meets DC... discussion

The floor bursts into flames based on the same remote control that commands Phoenix, the name Pyros indiscriminately gives all of his gliders. There are bomb launchers and a suit that Flame Goblin tests out his modifications on.

The Dust Goblin was starting to realize: he was the only goblin around in a hobgoblin suit. He should have a suit that would frame a different goblin.

Pyros was loading up his new glider when he noticed dust floating by in a large cloud.

Weird.

The Dust Goblin reached the Protosuit and was pleased. There was a flamthrower built into the palm (like Iron Man's flight stabilizer but fire), it could burst into flames and was fireproof and bulletproof, and most importantly had no cracks.

Pyros had left before The Dust Goblin went out to kill and frame. Two lookalikes. One homicidal maniac, one pyromaniac.

Pyros landed his glider on his hangar and carried the Gecko into the torching chamber to be...
I'll give you a hint. Torched.

Hannah was following him in the shadows waiting for a chance to grave Gecko!)

((Okay, we already know that. Is she avoiding the cameras? Watcjing him as he punches passwords into walls? Is she looking for weaknesses in his armor or waiting for an opportunity to grab Gecko and run? Don't post unless it adds something. If everyone adds something, this group will be the best.))

Pyros carefully punched in the passcode (FIREROXLIKEABOSS) to yurn off the turrets that would blow him up after he opened the door. He opened the door and tossed Gecko in. He took out his remote and punched in the combo, FARENHEIT451, and pushed the flame button. "Twenty more seconds of life, reptile."

Hannah Bolted out of the shadows (Her hood cover her head so it wasn't easy to see her face) And shoved Pyros to the ground picking up Gecko and running out

Except she couldn't possibly have done that, because Pyros had super strength. So maybe she dragged Gecko out of the blaze and then we can have a real fight.

(OK!)

After getting Gecko out she turn to Pyros She knew he could only see her mouthbecause the rest of her face was covered by the hood and shadows

((you know, it's actually very bright there, what with all the fire, it's Pyros's favorite decoration.))
Pyros looked like he was going to point at her before he launched his handflamethrower and set her face on fire. He followed up on that with a punch to her gut with a superstrong fist.
"No one steals from The Flame Goblin."

Hannah dodge the flame thrower saying nothing

He then kicked her legs from under her and planted a foot on her back, blocking her movement. "Now I'll torch two people," he said before the Gecko slammed into him at 60 mph, slamming him into his own motion sensors.
A wall fell on Pyros's head.

(What?)

((Gecko woke up and attacked the goblin, who got trapped under one of his own little traps.))

(Ohhh makes sense!)

Hannah stood up and look at Gecko

Gecko did not return the gaze and made a run for the escape.

Hannah followed him

The Gecko punched in FIREROXLIKEABOSS to bypass all security, opened up the door to the out, and seemed to disappear then, he was running so fast.
He didn't even say thanks.

(I read the pass word and laugh!)

Hannah shifted into a eagel and flew away

Kat flew towards the lair in her suit, trembling with anger. Her brother was dead.

That was about the same time that the Flame Goblin had finished refueling Phoenix and had opened up the hatch to go and terrorize more, just about to get on his glider when...

Kat dropped explosives down a hatch that opened, flying high to watch them explode.

The Flame Goblin was blown back by the force of the explosions, but as both his armor and his flesh were fireproof, that was about all it did. He hit the button on his remote and cannons began shooting homing pumpkin missiles at Kat.

Kat shot at the missiles to explode them before they hit her. "YOU KILLED MY BROTHER!" She screamed. "YOU F*CKING KILLED MY BROTHER!"

He then hit the lever that closed the hatch. It started closing very, very slowly.
"Come on come on come on come on come on!"

Kat flew in through the gap, bristling with fury.

((That was supposed to be her cue to fly in.))

The hatch then closed behind her, and the Flame Goblin hit the lever again. The hatch began slowly opening.
"Come on come on come-"

Kat walked over to him and punched his head.

He fell flat on his back and then kicked her legs from under her. He got back up and pinned her down under his hands, which then began frying her armor.

Kat screamed and jumped out of her armour, kicking his head.

He was superstrong and so was not unduly hurt by this. He grabbed her ankle, threw her into the wall, and then aimed his flamethrowing glove at her.
"Should've stayed in the suit," he told her before frying her.

Kat screamed loudly before falling, limp, to the ground. Her heart stopped beating.

He wasn't about to be fooled by her. He then threw a pumpkin bomb onto her and blew her to pieces.

He turned toward the suit with interest.
He could add some of those weapons to Phoenix...
