Did you enjoy Uglies? I wasn't sure I would like it, but I read the whole series and actually bought it :)
Aprile,I was certainly left wondering when David would come to rescue Tally and Shay, but I think I'll hold off until another time to finish the series. It reminded me of Twilight in that I just read it to keep up with the youngins!

Did you like this book? My daytime bookclub is looking at reading it. For some reason the cover threw me off of what the story is really about.
Would love to hear your thoughts.
Vanessa
Vanessa,I think reading it with your book club would be a great idea because this book if going to affect each person that reads it differently. Although it was an "easy" read, the characters are each complex in her own way. I highly recommend it for a book club!

Thanks Gretta,
We have decided to read The Help and The Elegance of the Hedgehog by: Muriel Barbery as our summer reads for my daytime bookclub. We meet in June to go to an author event for Into the Beautiful North by Luis Alberto Urrea and then we don't meet until September when the kids go back to school. I am looking forward to The Help and The Elegance of the Hedgehog. BTW, Into the Beautiful North is pretty good so far.
15. Couldn't Keep It To Myself by Wally Lamb and the Women of York Correctional Institution - 6/17/09

I read this for bookclub and cried my eyes out. I thought it was very good and found it interesting that the roundup of Jews in Paris was a true event and that there are so many people that never heard about it.
I felt bad that Sarah could not share her past life with her husband and son.
