This wasn't as impactful as I had anticipated, didn't really get my ire up. Maybe it's my time as a teacher, it really is an accepted reality for a lot of kids.
There is so much time at school spent out of direct supervision by a caring adult (between classes, lunch, locker rooms, bus, etc.). Sort of to natalie's experience with the gym monitor, we need qualified people in all of these fringe positions to help establish and maintain a tone.
