Do you have a favorite book? I know it may be hard to pick just ONE but, is there a certain book that pulled those proverbial heart strings of yours so fondly, that the story stuck with you emotionally?

As a kid it was definitely the original Alice and Wonderland.

Rosanna Leo (rosanna_leo) For me, it'll always be the Narnia Chronicles by CS Lewis. I tried to get there through my bedroom closet, you know. Sad child.

LOL you and me both! When I was little, I even themed my room to the series. I made a huge construction paper wardrobe looking thing around my closet and on the door. I still can't decide what my ultimate treasured story is though T_T too many haha

I was a crazy kid lol. I once took pallets of construction paper and pasted a full theater stage, curtains and all on the biggest wall. I created little ballerinas and everything rofl. And life-sized NSync figures -_-

Michelle (ndayeni) | 62 comments Wow. That sounds very creative Sky :) Not many kids would think to do stuff like that

Katya Wow, good question

Growing up it would have to be an anthology of short stories by Edgar Allen Poe.
Especially: "The Cask of Amontillado." The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe
My dad saw how enthralled I was with this author he bought me a book with all his poems and stories in it.

Now...In recent reading....I would have to say the book that blew my mind is a combination of Dreamfever & Shadowfever.
Dreamfever (Fever, #4) by Karen Marie Moning Shadowfever (Fever, #5) by Karen Marie Moning I was blown away by this story.

Hehe, Katya that series is what came to mind at the top of this thread when I told Sky I'm sure she and I both thought of the same one. Even tho I only read them last year, they're still at the top of my list.

The storytelling, the allure and pull between the hero and heroine...if you can call them that....the surprises and, oh...the whole thing...it was amazing.

I just got an amazing deal on collection bundles for the classic likes of Edgar Allen Poe, Jane, etc the other day. The Edgar Allen Poe edition is one book and has every single story ever written by him. I'll have to take a pic!

Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover I have to add Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover to my list of treasued stories, now.

I didn't go full-blown ugly cry, though. I did however have tears, but I was mostly in shock when Miles finally revealed his past to Tate.
