As an ancient Sumerian god, Sin was one of the most powerful among his pantheon. . . Until the night Artemis brutally stole his godhood and left him for dead. For millennia, this ex-god turned Dark-Hunter has dreamed only of regaining his powers and seeking revenge on Artemis. If only life were that simple.

Unfortunately he has bigger fish--or in Sin's case--demons, to fry. The lethal gallu that were buried by his pantheon are now stirring and they are hungry for human flesh. Their goal is to destroy mankind and anyone else who gets in their way. Sin is the only one who can stop them--that is if a certain woman doesn't kill him first. Unfortunately, Sin discovers that now he must rely on her or witness an annihilation of biblical proportions.

Enemies have always made strange bedfellows, but never more so than when the fate of the world hangs in the balance. Now a man who knows only betrayal must trust the one person most likely to hand him to the demons. Artemis may have stolen his godhood, but this one has stolen his heart. The only question is will she keep it or feed it to the ones who want him dead?

Looking forward to re-reading this one... sadly, I don't remember the overall premise of this installment. Well, nothing like re-reading a book like its new. *S*

I am sending my daughter off to Grandma's house for two weeks so I'll have time to listen to it. Well catch up on the last one then start this soon.

Now this was a good installment after a couple of lacklaster ones. Some astounding revelations.

Ok, if all goes well I will start this one tomorrow. It has everything I still need for the scavenger hunt so unless some really bizzaro item I already claimed is called then I have this on audio to listen to on my 10 hour car ride and a paper copy to finish up with if needed.

I don't have any of these on audio, no wonder I haven't been keeping up

How ironic. The fact that I only had some on audio is why I'm falling behind. It is harder to listen while I clean with my oldest kid out of school. My youngest doesn't understand.

I loved this one. So very much. And I'm relieved, because I wasn't thilled with the two previous books and thought I might be burning out.

Also, (view spoiler)[ up till this book, I thought Katra was going to be Ash's heroine *blush* (hide spoiler)]. Can't decide if I should feel stupid cause I missed some blatant foreshadowing or what. But I figured out who she really was very quickly once I found out who her mother was.

I wasn't crazy about adding another pantheon with more mythologies to follow into the series. At some point my brain can't keep track of all of them (between the Greeks, the Atlanteans, Dark-Hunters, Dream-Hunters, Were-Hunters and now Sumerians? Enough is enough. IMO.)

I was glad that Ash kind of explained Nick's hatred towards him more in this book (was it this one? Or another??? Can't recall at this point, they are starting to blend.) I still think it's a stupid hatred, but I understand it a bit better now.

All the pantheons are hard, and she isn't done adding them. I stopped trying to figure out all the ones to come and just went with the story line.


It was this one that Ash explained some of Nick. I loved that he learned from his mistake and didn't take out his anger on Sin for sleeping with Kat.

At least I am on book 10...though I am not excited to read it, I will try to knock it out next week. I'm working my way back
