Sage walked through the arcade silently. She stumbled upon an old PAC- man machine and gave a soft smile.
Alana walked into the arcade with her skateboard in her hands. She then left her only form of transportation leaning against the door frame of the entrance and began to wander through the aisles of machines.
Wren walked in dressed in her signature look: Athletic shorts, a t-shirt cut into a tank top, and tennis shoes. Her tan skin glistened with salt water and her hair was thrown up in a sloppy bun. She went up to the ATM/coin changer thing and fed it five bucks. It gave her twenty tokens in return.
{I have to go. See you later!}
Being an occasional visitor to Flaming Neon, Alana already had a handful of tokens stuffed into her sweatshirt pocket. She was all set. Making her way to an abandoned corner filled with the oldest games, she slid a token into the slot on one of the sides of the machines. She smiled gratefully, having been immediately greeted with a the old fashion electronic tones of the background theme song.

((Haha, me too! Bye!))Even though Wren did appreciate the classic arcade games, her favorite was still Dance Dance Revolution. She slipped four golden coins in the slot and selected advanced mode. She found the hardest, most up tempo, song there was and selected it.
Alana had once reached level 389 on galaga, her goal now was to make the game reload. She had came close o reaching her goal once but the console had crashed. Normally, Alana barely spent anytime in Flaming Neon, however she needed to kill some time. She had to stay out of the house for a while , Demetrie was there. So why not try to achieve her middle school dream now?
Wren's feet were a blur as she danced to the speedy music. Her heart started to pump a little faster and her body temp was rising.
The first levels were mind-dumbling easy that Alana didn't need to keep her full attention on the screen. Allowing her gaze to occasionally glance up and around, she found her interest briefly caught by a girl who was dancing next to her.
Wren happened to be in the middle of a turn when she saw a girl glance at her. "Hey!" She grinned, slightly out of breath.
Alana glanced back up when the blocky blue text on the screen announced stage ten."Hi!" she replied with a radiating warm smile.
"It's Galaga. What song is that?" Alana asked, with one of her eyebrows curiously raised;having already returned her gaze to the the glowing screen in front of her.
"Break Down," Wren said as she spun around. "I don't think I've ever played that game. What do you do?" She asked between spins.
"You basically shoot lasers at blockey digital space insects." Alana laughed." It's easily one of the most bad-ass arcade games ever."
"Mhm." She agreed with a small grin, her finger rapidly hitting the large red button button set in the front compartment of the machine."I'm Alana by the way."
"Weird question here. But do you happen to be related to a certain Riley Parker?" Alana asked her eyebrow arching up at the screen.
Wren nodded, "Yeah, he's my brother." She landed the final move of the song. Breathing heavily, she leaned against the machine.
"Really? That's cool." Alana had guessed as much, it hadn't really came as a surprise. They had the same eyes.
From it's spot on the ledge of the machine's screen, her cell phone let out a buzz and and toppled. It slid down the control panel ; until it came to an abrupt stop in between Alana's hands where it intermediatley tapped with both her thumbs.

((OH my god I am soooo sorry! I must have missed the notification back in October and I haven't been on goodreads in a really long time to check either! Ahh! I feel so bad!))"Yeah," Wren wondered what relationship the two had but thought it best not to ask the girl she just met. She made a mental note to ask Riley about it later. "Anything important?" She asked, nodding to Alana's phone.
(( It's okay. Don't worry about it! You posted eventually so it's all good.(; ))
"Kind of," she replied. She paused to blow a tuft of bangs out of her eyes before explaining further. "My friend and I are street musicans. He was wondering if I could meet him down at the park to preform."

"That's awesome! What do you play?" Wren asked, jumping down from the game. She reached down for her water bottle and took a gulp.
" Um, I play the saxophone, piano, guitar, and drums. I sing a little, if that counts." she shrugged, laughing slightly. Then, she abandoned the game's controls altogether and turned around to lean against the side of the machine.
"Wow," Wren whistled, swinging on the bar of the dance game. "I'm not much of a music geek, more of a sports person," She smiled.
"Yeah," Alana shrugged. "But sports are cool too. What do you play?" she asked as her phone went off again.
"Oh boy...a lot of stuff," Wren ran her fingers through her hair. "I play a lot of soccer, I run, swim, surf, lacrosse," She honestly couldn't think of all the sports that she had taken part in over the years. "Riley plays a lot of them too,"
"He was telling me about that," Alana grinned. Her suspicions about the whole of the Parker family being sport crazy was gradually being proven. "But that's really cool. I've always admired soccer players, my personal relationship with the game has always fallen a little short."
Wren shrugged and smiled. "Sports aren't for everyone. It's awesome that you're into your music like that," Unlike most teenagers, Wren was accepting of people who were different than her. Their interests weren't what she judged, personality was.
Alana grinned and ran a hand through her hair. " I guess your right," she agreed. Once again the similariteis between the two siblings were remarkable. The next urgent buzz from her pocket was accompanied by the sound of a revving engine and a horn blaring from the parking lot. With a sigh, she rolled her eyes, "And that's my friend, I should probably go he won't stop until I go out there. It was nice meeting you though and please tell your brother that he still owes me." With that she gave a small two fingered wave, turned heel, and meandered towards the door.
"Sure, no problem!" Wren called, waving goodbye. Owes her? This made her really question what type of relationship the two had. Alana was nice no doubt, but she didn't seem like Riley's type at all. No matter, she shook her head, it wasn't her place to say anything about it. "OH! It was nice meeting you!" She yelled before the girl left.
"Yeah, you too." She called, turning around to smile at her. " See you later." The bell that hung over the door chimed as she slipped out. Outside there was the sound of a car door slamming and thrum of a newly started speaker system. Which slowly drifted away as the truck made its way down the street.
Ivy walked in and and walked over to a donkey kong machine. She focused on the game, not paying attention to her surroundings.
"Oh cool. Some colleges want me for my skill with a bow while others want me for my automotive skills. "
