Cael emerged into the light squinting and looking around for April. He spotted her on the opposite side of him but knew the only way to survive was for both of them to hit the woods. He hoped she could see him pointing to the east part of the cornucopia where trees stretched towards the sky and covered the earth with their brush.
Once the gong sounded Cael ran as hard as he was able going right for a couple bags in front of him. He grabbed a bag that he quickly put on his back and ran to the eastern forest. The only thing he could hear in those moments was his heart beating in his ears. Everything blurred around him as he ran, never looking back at who might be following him.
Caine was taking deep breathes, putting on his glasses as his eyes adjusted to the light. He took a final deep breath and ran over the plan again. As the gong sounded, he ran to the Cornucopia and grabbed a bow and arrow, two medkits, and at least four tins. He ran off to the forest, looking around for any signs of Dy.
Caine saw the stick and stopped. He blinked a few times, confused. He then turned to the sound of his name. His eyes landed on Dy. "Dy..." he whispered.
Cael ran for a few minutes before he finally stopped to see if anyone had followed him. He looked in all directions but there was no sign of anyone but himself in the woods. He took the heavy pack off his back and looked inside. The contents were as follows: one tarp, one empty water bottle, one fishing rod, and one hook. Cael checked a second time but that was all that was in the bag "Ok calm down Cael just think what can you do. There's a lake to the northwest that can both fill my water bottle and I can use to set this fishing stuff to use. First though I gotta wait for April." So Cael waited for her hoping a gong wouldn't sound for her demise.
Caine smiled and slung the backpack on his arm, across his back. He took a knife and put it in a pocket. "Thank you," he whispered then held up what he got. "I got a bow and arrow, two medkits and some tins," he said quietly, holding up the medkits and the tins.
Caine followed, smiling. He took soft steps, barely crushing leaves. "You want to find the lake?" he whispered to her. He wanted to set up there and find a hiding spot there.
Caine nodded. "We can rest at day and cook at night so no one will try and come after us," he whispered. His pace quickened but the sound of leaves did not.
Caine smiled back and saw the lake. He started to run to the lake. He looked back at Dy and grinned.
Cael waited for what seemed like an hour with no one coming his way. "April....did you abandon me?" Cael thought as he kept his eyes towards the direction of the cornucopia. "I better go, she remembers what I said about if we get separated to head towards the lake" Cael said as he headed northwest unsure as to what was ahead of him.
After a two hours of walking Cael came upon a stream running northwards "It must lead to the lake." Before going any further however he stood near the stream and filled his water bottle. As he turned away to go northwards with the stream he noticed two pairs of footprints headed due north "Must be other players.....they were only here just recently." He followed it from the shade of the surrounding trees in order to ensure he was hidden from view as the stream started to grow until it finally reached the lake. Cael quickly hid himself in the brush watching for anyone or anything, fear pounding in his ears as he did a survey of the lake with his eyes. He had no weapons, his ally was nowhere to be seen and he was unsure as to who the players, who's prints he'd seen, were and to whether they were hostile or not.
Caine watched her and then looked at his footing. Just stps away from the lake.
April sprinted towards the Cornucopia, grabbing a pack and a knife, and ran towards the woods, where she had seen Cael pointing to. She ran until she had to stop, feeling like her heart was going to pound out of her ribcage. As she slowed to a walk, she panted hard, but tried covering it up so it wasn't so loud.
Once Cael was at the lake he kept to the shadows of the trees surrounding the lake. He knew he had to keep the fear inside him in place
(( @ Ana ))Caine chuckled and started to run. He wanted to find the rock. He grinned back at her, glad they both made it out unscathed.

Violet was taking deep breaths as she saw her surroundings. She glanced at Tom who had motioned to the desert a ways away. She sighed and heard the gong ring. She ran fast, grabbing tins and a medkit. She avoided weapons and such as she took a quick step after the other. Then sprinted to the desert that Tom had motioned to.
Caine found a little cave between two rocks. He smirked and slipped inside. He set down his pack and set it to one side. "Perfect." The cave wasn't spacious just about the size of a small bathroom.
He kissed her cheek and felt around for any cameras. Caine found one and covered it with his pack. He smirked. "They aren't ever going to know our secrets."
He put a finger to his lips. "Tension on sponsors," he whispered to her. "It will make them want to help us as we spread those 'secrets'." Putting air quotes around secrets.
He nodded back and held her hand. Caine hid the tins in the corner next to him and smiled as she kissed his cheek. He kissed her knuckles back.
Caine grinned just as wide and hugged her back. His hand letting go of hers. He felt safe with her, even if it was the Arena. He sighed, wishing they didn't have to do this. But if he wasn't Reaped, he would've never met Dy.
Cael kept to the shadow of the tree line watching for any other players. He still hasn't heard a gong sound but that didn't mean she would come. He needed to be patient and wait. Whoever was here was with someone else, and Cael didn't want to find out who. All he wanted to know was where they were that way he would know where they were and stay away from them. Cael finally decided he needed to wait until his ally came so he decided the best place to go was into a tree. It took a few tries but Cael was able to finally make it up a spruce tree and found a spot where he could look over the lake front but not fall out of the tree. Though this did leave him exposed from the bottom of the tree to attack.
Caine took a deep breath and closed his eyes. "I think, we should start on what napping at day and going out at night..." he whispered, kind of tired himself.
Caine slowly sank to the ground and closed his eyes. He didn't get enough sleep last night. He sighed and curled up, falling asleep.

Caine woke up and grabbed his knife. He opened his eyes and told Dy to switch places. Then rubbed his tired eyes. He didn't get his sleep.
"It's fine.. I just really hate sleep right now," he muttered. He didn't look at her. "You rest and I'll wake up in a few hours.
"Of course. What is it?"
Caine smiled and whispered back. "I love you too." He sat in the darkness and smiled helplessly. He stared at the sky and waited.
Caine watched the fake sun as it glistened over the lake. He rubbed his tired eyes sometimes. Then just felt weak. He never slept well at a place he didn't consider home.
Caine looked back at her and went wide-eyed. "What's wrong?" he asked quietly.
"Want to help me guard?" He asked quietly.
Caine put an arm around her and kissed her head. He sighed and closed his eyes, wished he was sleeping at home again.
"Anything for you," he said just as quietly. Caine stroked her hair and kissed her cheek quickly.
Caine fell asleep soon, his drowsiness a pain in the ass for him.
Caine's body was heavy as he rested and he turned and laid down. His body straight as a stick.

Mitch waited as the minute counted down, running strategies through his head. When the gong sounded, he shot down the field, grabbing a pack and an axe. He looked around for Sephy. He wasn't sure if she wanted to be allies or not. It's worth a chance, though.
April leaned against the cool bark of a tree, panting. She had to find Cael, make sure he was still alive. She crouched down, unzipping her pack and sifting through the items. 2 empty water bottles, a pocket knife, a bag of beef jerky, rope, and a pillow. Stuffing the contents back in the bag, she decided to head north towards a lake she saw before the Gong, to fill her water bottles.
Cael kept in his hiding spot until the sun started to set then slowly got out of the tree and refilled his water bottle. He would wait there until his ally came, he left tracks and traces of himself for her to follow so there wasn't a doubt she could find him.
April eventually found tracks in the ground. Unsure of whose it was, she followed them, but very quietly, so that if it was a Career, they wouldn't notice her. But she ha a feeling it was Cael, who else would leave traces like this unless it was on purpose?
Violet breathed through her nose and caught up to him. She carried the medkit and tins to him and smiled. "We made it," she said softly. She was glad she and Tom had lived the bloodbath.
Caine was asleep as Dy camouflaged the cave and hunted. He dreamed bad things....Where am I? Caine looked around at the darkness and heard a scream. Dy? He asked the darkness before hearing another scream. He ran to it's owner as things became light again. His eyes laid upon a mutt, of which was over a body. Caine heard a gong, but ignored... looking at the face of the victim. Dy? He asked the lifeless body. He shooed the mutt away and stared down at Dy's bloody and injured face. Please talk, Dy... He said to the body. He picked it up and started screaming at it, rejecting and denying the idea she was dead. He felt as if someone had grabbed his heart, squeezed it and forced it up his throat...
Caine heard the helicopter coming down. Someone was zapping him to get away from the mauled body. He refused and clutched on the body for dear life.
Throughout his nightmare... Caine was twitching and mumbling things. Shadows crossed over his face as he whispered.
Caine finally woke up after dying from electrocution in his dream and losing the fight to attempt to keep Dy alive. His eyes opened wide as they watered. His mind didn't know if it was true or fake. He clenched his jaw before looking down at his hands. There was another hand...? He followed the other arm to the face of the owner. His eyes wider as relief hit him in the face. He smiled and hugged her. He took shaky breaths. Thank god, you're alive," he whispered.
Caine looked at her and put a hand on her cheek. He shook his head. "It was so real... except the beginning. But the rest of it was real... I thought it was... But you're alive..." he whispered. Caine looked her over, seeing no wounds. He sighed in relief. "Just... we were out... and you were attacked... and you died..." he said quietly. He looked at her big, teal eyes. "Just always have a knife with you... always."
Cael waited awhile before he heard footsteps heading his way. He kept close to the tree, his body pressed hard against it as he waited for the figure to walk by where he hid. Sweat started crawling down his spine as he waited in anticipation for whoever was about to go by him. "Is it April or a player?" Cael thought as he waited.
Caine smiled and held her other hand. He nodded as his stomach growled. His smile weak, but grew brighter every second. He was proud to have made an ally on the first day in the training center. He was proud that they were friends(Or even more :P). Caine loved the fact that they wouldn't kill each other and proud about their plan. He kissed her cheek and squeezed her hand. "I'm guessing rabbit?" He asked.
Caine laughed and nodded. "It's okay, we have enough for a few days and that's all that matters. We have a few tins and a lake full of fish. I'm sure we can live off of what we got," he said enthusiastically. He noticed Dy looking at him then the rabbits and stopping at his eyes. He blushed faintly, but it faded quickly. He stared back at her eyes, smiling. He squeezed her hand sometimes as he memorized her eyes... they were different in the dream... they were the color of the sky... Hers was the color of a robin's egg. He noticed other difference about dream Dy and the real Dy. D.D.'s hair was straight and lighter. R.D's hair was dark brown and wavy. He shuddered... thinking about another major difference.
Caine blinked a few times then nodded. "Yea... just it's weird how different you look in my mind," he said quietly. He thanked her for helping him sit up. Then kissed her head once she had kissed his cheek. He smiled, glad to be awake. He put an arm around her shoulder. He kissed her cheek again.
The tributes are transported to the loading station by helicopter. The are dressed in sturdy pants, a long-sleeved shirt, a jacket, and boots. They are fed a nutritious meal and given a glass of water. They wait an hour until it is time. Their token is pressed into their hand and they are sent into the arena on their platform.
The kids are arranged in a circle around the Cornucopia. Each child is directly across from their District Partner.
The Cornucopia is filled to the brim with supplies. The best supplies (most of the weapons and the medkits) are in the center of the Cornucopia. Small items such as tins of cornbread and nuts are scattered around the grass. To the north of the Cornucopia is the only water source, a large, shallow lake. You can see across the lake if you strain your eyes. To the east and south of the Cornucopia is a thick forest. Who knows dangers lie there? To the west of the Cornucopia is a desert land with small ruins of a village. There may be a few food supplies here, but it is terribly hot. And there must have been a reason for the villagers to desert this place.
Rules:
1) No God-modding/Power Playing
2)Keep RP at least three sentences long
3)Be realistic. If your character gets stabbed in the stomach, she probably will die. Also, a character usually cannot dodge an arrow from close range.
