The town hall is located in the center of Ponyville's town square. The Summer Sun Celebration is held in the hall in the first two episodes. In the episode Applebuck Season, the large porch outside serves as a stage for Applejack's friends and Mayor Mare when they give their speeches. In Griffon the Brush Off, a rack of cubby holes in the town hall stores scrolls which Spike gathers and carries outside. The town hall is in disrepair in The Last Roundup, and when Rainbow Dash is fixing it prior to the ceremony honoring Applejack, Derpy "assists" her and further damages the building. Applejack pledges to pay for the repair of the town hall with the prize money she expects to win at the rodeo. But when her friends find out that she failed to win any prize money, they tell her they'll find other ways to fund the repair of the town hall.
More of the town square is seen from an aerial shot in Griffon the Brush Off. The square has a pool with a sculpture of a rearing Earth pony and several colorful tents pitched around it. A river runs along one side of the square, and a bridge crosses it to another tent area.
In Too Many Pinkie Pies, Applejack and her sister, Apple Bloom round up the Pinkie Pie duplicates and put them in the town hall, where Twilight Sparkle tells the duplicates to watch paint dry.

Pinkie Pie saw a unfamiliar pony, and she knows everypony, so this pony must be new! So she ran over to this mysterious pony with her welcome cart.

And with that, confetti came out of a canon and the oven opened with a nice, big, already frosted cake.

He just smiled " well, somepony is overly excited to meet me" he said with a laugh

Yin-Yang walked into town with a cloak over him. He had to get some ingrediants for a special soup. Which he always loved.

Yin-Yang walked around town for some ingredents.

Yin-yang walked around. On his list of ingredents, was a bunch of oats, three apples and a pear. He needed to get. His stomach quietly grumbled.

Yin-Yang decided that the ingredients could wait. He trotted over to the bakery to get something small.

Yin-Yang was too busy looking at the goods, but by accedently bumped into somepony. But not a, but a the. Yin-Yang looked up and saw Princesses Luna. "Princess." He bowed.

Yin-Yang's hood fell so Princess Luna could see what he looked like. "I am so sorry."

Yin-Yang smiled, "Well, that is great to hear. I am Yin-Yang by the way."

"It is my pony pleasure to meet the one and only Luna." He smiled slightly. He knew that he had to get the ingredients still.

Yin-Yang was surprised. "I certainly do not pony mind."

"I am just shopping for some ingredients for a soup." He walked to a stand where Apple Jack was selling apples.

"You know, I make the best soup ever. If want you can try it when I am finished." He smiled.

"I would love to I thank you for the offer." Luna said with a smile.

Faith wandered off.

"No pony problem." He waited for Apple Jack.

"May I have three apples please." Yin-Yang asked Apple Jack.

Apple Jack nodded, "Sure, that would be four." Yin-Yang paid and put them in his bag.

Yin-Yang walked into town.

Twilight walked onto the Town Center, looking for Applejack.

Blades followed close behind till he saw the flower stall and walked over to it.

Yin-Yang decided to go look at some flowers.

Blades throw a few coins on the veders table and grabbed a bucay of flowers. He ran to catch up with Twilight.

Twilight finally spotted AJ as blade caught up. "Hey."

Blades floated the flowers to her. "I saw this and remembered they were your fav" he said.
