Christian vs Ryodan
I will have to go w/ Ryo. He has enough patience to wait until she is older. I don't know how long Christian will be able to hold out. He is a bit scary and out of control at the moment. Hopefully he will gain more self control before he hits rock bottom. - also posted on blog =)
ryo seems to be the more sexier of the two. I think Ryo would be more Dani's type.
Ryodan hands down.....
I vote for Ryodan, but what about Dancer?
I want it to be Dancer, but considering the fever books, I assume that it will be Ryodan.
I'm conflicted about the 2, Ryodan & Christian... but long term, Ryodan would be the best choice for Dani between the 2. I like Dancer too. but rarely does a first love or crush wind up being the love interest for the long haul.
I vote for Ryodan, but at the same time hate and despise him. How will Dani ever want to be with someone who has abused her and who she has seen sleeping around so much? She knows what kind of man he is. I am hoping KMM will help Dani grow up an awful lot, then show us some of Ryodan's really redeeming characteristics, then set them up. It just seems like it would take a lot to actually get them together in a somewhat healthy relationship.Poor Dancer... he is such a wonderful person! I am so worried his heart will be broken.

I think KMM's got a lil something up her sleeve for poor old Dancer....like maybe hes not human after all, in a good way of course..maybe he knows all his tricks and gandgets because he has been tought them. Whatever it is, its going to be big!

He could have a very dark nature, he lived all over the world with his parents, maybe he picked up some type of dark magic (?) or some such when he lived somewhere else.. we shall see. There is sooo much stuff KMM can do with Dancer, bc not too much info has ever been revealed of him...maybe his parents are not human, maybe he has this big desiny to be evil, the next unseely prince lol, who knows!! I think he is good though. And i think KMM is going to make it so that when Ryodan and Christian find out who he really is, even they will sort of bow to him! Wish it was out already, grrrr i hate waiting this long for sequels!

*spoiler*I'm actually voting for Dancer. I am reading the book for the first time and have about 4 % left of it. I just read the scene when Jo and Ryodan are cuddling while they are waiting for the Ice King to appear. I felt it will be such a betrayal against Jo if Ryodan dumps her for Dani later, and Dani has a good relationship with Jo. I think that Ryodan is doing a huge mistake with any chances with Dani getting involved with Jo and I hope Dani never "forgives" him later because of that. Christian is just wrong.
Also it is a bit predictable and no fun if Dani would choose Ryodan. It would be like the same books as the Fever series: Dani = Mac, Ryodan = Barrons, Christian = V'lane, Jo =Fiona, Dancer = beautiful brown eyed guy (?).
It would be so predictable! But somehow I still think Dani might end up with Ryodan... I mean, Christian and Dani is totally out (he is an unseelie prince, them being together is so unrealistic) and I think Dancer would have been in the book more if they were eventually to end up together. The whole Jo/Ryo thing drives me crazy too. How would Dani ever be able to get over that and the fact that Ryodan sleeps around like crazy? In Iced, I totally hated Ryodan for abusing Dani and being such a total jerk. But then again, it was like Darkfever, where the whole time I was thinking Barrons and Mac would NEVER possibly hook up because he was the hugest jerk of all time. Calling her his latest piece of ass, etc.
Either way, KMM has tricks up her sleeve, and whatever way she takes things I think she will a great job!
Little Feather: it is not only that Ryodan sleeps around, it is that he is having some kind of relationship with Jo, which is one of Dani's very few and near friends. Jo is apparantly in love with him, and (after my opinion) she will probably have to die before it would be OK for Dani and Ryodan to get involved. I wouldn't mind if Ryodan slept around with random girls, but not Dani's friend, while waiting for Dani to get older. That's just wrong and I would think less of Dani if she went down that road.

I wo der what Ryodan's true feelings are towards Jo, since he does show her quite a bit of respect and even affection towards the end of the book.
I think Ryo actually is starting to care for Jo...he is an evil s.o.b. with ulterior motives most of the time but he may have a soft spot for her.. who knows maybe they will stay together and it will turn out Ryo is Dani's father lol and Dani will end up with Dancer, who ends up being quite magical himself...just sayin,,,so many possibilities!! cant wait!

I love reading all your opinion about who you want Dani to get with! I just finnish this book ! I'm in the minority because I'm rooting for Christian! I like Christian from the beginning of the series! He is going through a lot with the change! I want him to get a handle of this. I'm hoping that he cans found his humanity & not be more screw up after been taking by the witch. Bad enough he is trying to deal with being unseelie prince but now being tortured. Maybe Dani can be that girl who can bring him out the water of been the unseelie prince! Bring Christian close to his humanity with love! Can he have HEA too. OK, I know I'm be sappy over here!
I didn't like how Ryodan physically abuse Dani and use her to work for him! He came off as a bully to me! It was hard for me to listen to my Audio book. I was yelling a lot (lol)! I felt Dani anguish when she swallow her pride to ask for help to get her sword back! I don't care much for any guy hitting a girl! Plus he is to protective of her space!
I like Dancer but I'm afraid that something might happen to him. Hope not! Maybe he is more then what we see beside being smart. He is my second choice. He has a lot nerve to stand up to Ryodan & Christain!
If Dani would choose Ryodan. It would be like the same books as the Fever series. Where as Dani is Mac & Ryodan is Barrons. Christian isn't V'lane. V'lane is so full of hisself and let not forget what he did to Mac!

I like Christian and I really hope he finds his soul mate, but in Iced I think it is pretty clear that Dani is not attracted to Christian. She thinks he could be a cool ally or friend, but she never seems to actually like him as more than that.
My predictions for Christian: Dani will rescue him from the Hag. Christian will go bad (being Unseelie and all)and hopefully he will end up finding his sexy soulmate who won't be Dani. Who knows! It could happen :)
I also HATED the way Ryodan treated Dani. Ugh. But I still think the foreshadowing in the book leads to them eventually ending up together years later.
There's definitely something up with Dancer. I just finished ICED and when Kat is making an observation about the group - she picks out Dancer; 'harbors secrets so dark and deep that even my gifts can't reach them' Hello?!
So, want is he? He may not be entirely human...
I really like Ryodan!! Even tho a lot of people say he's abusive towards Dani, you can tell that he does care for her and maybe he is just trying to make her grow up a bit faster. I would like to see them together sometime in these books and yes it would be a lot like Mac and Barrons but I'm sure KMM would make it different! I didn't mind Christian at times but he did come across a little creepy! I hope that becoming an unseelie prince doesn't totally screw him up, maybe KMM will find away to make him become human again, or maybe not an evil prince!
I really liked Dancer, him and Dani had so much in common and they understood each other so well, in a perfect world I think they would end up together, but this isn't a perfect world!
So saying all that, I would really enjoy seeing how a relationship between Dani and Ryodan would turn out!! I love Ryo!!!

I'm thinking that the reason for why KMM wrote this awful relationship between Ryodan and Jo is because she is making it OK that Ryodan will not be Dani's first. Because now I'm all about Dani hurting Ryodan for the Jo thing. And I just don't know when/how it would be okey for Ryodan and Dani to get together later because of Jo.

That would be so cool if Dani got her first kiss from Dancer. We know she is in denial about her crush on him and that she thinks he is hot. I think he would be a great first kiss. Not sure about him being her first lover... whoever that is, I hope it ends up being someone she has a lot of trust in. I would hate her to lose her virginity to Dancer just to find out the next day some horrible secret about him! As much as I hate Ryodan on some levels, at least he doesn't pretend to be something he's not around Dani. She knows he can be a cold, abusive power-hungry jerk. I hope it doesn't turn out that Dancer is using Dani too... he seems so sweet and genuine!
I want her with Christian. He loves her and is always taking care of her. Ryodan just looks at her as a possession he really wants to own. I was team Ryo until he took the Jo situation to another level. Screwing random girls is one thing having a real relationship with feelings and cuddling and everything with one of Dani's only friends is just f-ing icky. Especially since he shove's that relationship in her face.

I'd like to see Dani frow up to be an idependant person & then let someone else come along. I don't see her with Rydon & I think Dancer is like a first crush maybe.

-I really want Christian to mature a little bit. He was very sweet and quite smart in the previous books but it looks like he lost part of his brains and he's acting like some crazy macho.

No you don't. You're just mad at Ryodan for the beating of Dani and the Jo "relationship" and want him to suffer like the rest of us are craving for. But in the end, you will be disappointed should she choose someone else :)

I agree! We definitely want him to suffer for the beating and not just for being in the Jo relationship but for throwing it in her face so much. But I do want her to end up with Ryodan like most others. However I don't want him to have her v-card!! Not only does he not deserve it but it will make the story so much more even and better if that privilege goes to another.

Yup, I also think that the story will be great if she gets her first kiss and V- card to someone else. But as I have pointed out earlier, I think that's the reason KMM wrote the Jo/Ryodan story at all- because we will be more forgiving when Dani is intimate with someone else.
My guess is that Dani will give her virginity to Dancer. At least in Iced he is the only one she is really attracted too. So I think in Burned that is what will happen. Even tho I hope eventually under the right circumstances that Dani & Ryo will get together, it would feel SOOOO wrong for Ryo to be her first.
No to Ryodan. Yes to Dancer or Christian. I hope KMM don't do the Ryodan route. She already did that in the Fever series with Mac and Barrons. We don't need a repeat.

I'm really torn on this question. I think all three - Ryodan, Christian, & Dancer - would be good for Dani for different reasons. Dani is a free-spirit and will blaze her own trail; I think she should set up a male harem and have all three of them! Can't blame a girl for dreaming!
I like Christian, but I can't seem to get myself to root for him and Dani. Maybe it's because Ryodan and Dani were somewhat foreshadowed in one of the previous books (can't remember which one), but I'm REALLY intrigued by their relationship. I want to see where they are in a few years time. They can't hookup now obviously because it would be creepy and weird, but 10 years down then line? Maybe!
So my preference goes:
1.) Ryodan
2.) Dancer
3.) Christian

KMM is the perfect author to write a book where the h juggles some hotties! And Dani is the up to the challenge.
