Applejack, Twilight, Khaos and Blades entered. "I'm here Pinkie!" She shouted.

"Nope! Promises to keep a secret, and if Celestia finds out, he'll do anything to protect him. Luna also found out. But they were already friends so he's alright." Applejack said reassuringly.

"He knows Luna?" she said, surprised. "Really?" Meanwhile, Khaos looked around for something to eat.
"Yes he does. He's very loyal to her. I think." Applejack said to Pinkie Pie. "Hey sugar cube! I bet me and Pinkie could make you a love potion to drink!" She said to Khaos. There were no cloisters in the store, and the Cake family had taken a family vacation so Pinkie stayed to watch the shop.

Applejack laughed as Pinkie came bouncing out. "You want a slice, sugar cube?" She asked Blade who was drooling.

Applejack chuckled getting behind the counter. She cut a slice, but didn't give it to him just yet. "Now, that will be 4 bits. I can't take food without the Cakes permission but we can sell."

Applejack scooped the four bits into her hoof and she handed him the slice of cake. She put the bits in the register.

"No problem." Applejack said grinning. She grabbed a carmel apple, put three bits in the register and sat at the table. "So, how are you liking Ponyville? You seem to be enjoying that cake." She said.

Applejack cracked a smile, and she quickly ate her Carmel apple. They finished their food around the same time. Applejack burped loudly.

"Nah. No excuse." Applejack said.

"Ponyville does have some of the best food in Equestria." Applejack said grinning.

Applejack looked around worriedly. "I don't know! One minute he's here, next minute he's gone!" She said scared.

"Who are you?" Applejack asked suspiciously. She narrowed her eyes walking over to the cloaked pony.

"Tell me who you are now. Or I'll be forced to get the guards!" Applejack said huffing.

"Zecora?" Applejack said confused. "Is that you?" She asked. Trying to see under the cloak.

"Ugh... This is gonna kill me." Applejack said. She glared at the cloaked pony and tackled him. She pulled his cloak hood off and-

"Who are you? You look just like Blades!" Applejack said stunned. She looked at him concerned, worried and freaked out.

"How do you know my name?! I mean my nickname!" Applejack said freaking out now.
The location is featured in multiple episodes. Pinkie Pie bakes cupcakes there in Applebuck Season, and consumes desserts prepared for the royal visit of Princess Celestia under the pretense of being a food-taster in Swarm of the Century. The first floor holds a store-front, which is also used as a party or gathering space in several episodes, as well as a kitchen and a room with a taffy maker (as seen in Call of the Cutie). The upper floor contains Pinkie Pie's bathroom, which is seen in Feeling Pinkie Keen, while the upper-most floor in the building's cupcake-shaped tower contains Pinkie's bedroom. There are café tables outside the shop for customers to enjoy their treats right outside the store, which Pinkie uses in Griffon the Brush Off.
In Party of One, Pinkie holds a birthday party for Gummy (her pet alligator) in her room on the top floor. Twilight Sparkle also stops by the store to buy a cake for Pinkie's surprise party, something Pinkie Pie partly overhears through a hole in the floor of her room which seems to bypass the second floor entirely. When Rainbow Dash comes to collect Pinkie for the surprise party, she enters Pinkie's room through the balcony door at the very top of the building. In Lesson Zero, Twilight buys 12 cupcakes for a picnic with her friends, although Mrs. Cake gives her an extra one for free, making it a "baker's dozen".
In Baby Cakes, even more of the building is shown. Pinkie Pie serves a snack to Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake in a previously unseen room across from the rear staircase that joins to the kitchen, containing a dining table and shelves of candy. There is another bathroom, where she attempts to give the baby twins a bath. Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake share a nursery on the second floor where Pinkie Pie attempts to change their diapers and settles them down for their naps, although not before Pound Cake drags her from the room and down the stairs through the main floor. There is also another doorway in the second floor hallway but it is unclear what it leads to.
