Wonder Vs Never [Advanced] discussion

(A random and strange meadow in Wonderland)

Jefferson skipped along the open areas beneath the mushrooms as he occasionally picked one or two for supper later on. The smell in the air was quite sweet, it reminded him of the sugar cubes he puts into his tea. He smiled widely as he moved along the nice quiet path.

Alicia was sitting under one of the larger meadows humming a quiet tune. She was twisting and twining together blades of grass slowly, careful not to rip them. As she did this she made some rope from the grass, though her mind wasnt exactly there with her. She was daydreaming like she always does, about what it would be like if her father and her didnt fall down that rabbits hole, and if none of this ever happened.

Whilst plucking a rather large mushroom he spotted something pink out of the corner of his eye. The pink was familiar, he knew who this pink belonged to right away. He tiptoed behind four mushrooms on his way over to his daughter. Once behind her he tapped her shoulder, "Alicia dear!" He beamed raising his basket of mushrooms, "I come with preparations for dinner.

Alicia jumps slightly when she felt the tap on her shoulder. She blinked slightly as if waking up then smiles looking behind her and up at her father, " Oh Great!" She beams. Alicia always noticed how her father always tried to keep his sainity while she was around, she never knew why though she liked when her father acted silly. It was rather adorable and fun to watch. " I was just..thinking.." Alicia says with a giggle putting down the blades of grass, "What if we never found this place? Would you think that would be better for our lives..or worse?" She asked though rather to herself. She often did that, speaking out loud questions that really had no answer to them.

"Such a silly question to ask oneself," he shook his finger at her playfully as he plopped down next to her. Jefferson didn't like to think about what if's because they are like dreams that can never happen. "Why question this gift that we've been given? Wonderland is a glorious place to be," he smiled at his daughter while popping a mushroom into his mouth. His nose crinkled at the taste, "It's better when cooked I suppose."

Alicia bit her lower lip in thought as she lay on her belly her chin in her hands. " I guess.." she sighs before slipping her hand up to rest against her cheek, "It was fun at first growing up here i suppose..i wonder if mother would have liked it here also" She says. Alicia looked up and saw the look in her fathers eyes and knew she shouldnt have mentioned her mother, " And yes they are better cooked" She says trying to change the subject.

At the mention of his wife his eyes saddened, oh how he missed her. Not a day went by when he didn't think about her. She was always in his mind, Alicia reminded him of her, which is why he can never lose her. Alicia was his last piece of her. His daughter was his most prized possession, he loved her more than anything. He sighed as the memories of his wife slipped away. "Yes, yes, better cooked," he stated in a sad and weary voice while his eyes gazed off into the distance.

"Im sorry Daddy" She says pushing herself up into a sitting position. Her own eyes filled with sadness and her arms wrap around his body, " I didnt mean to make you sad" She murmurs. Alicia slipped her hat off and sat it on the ground as she nuzzles her head up under his chin before burying her face in the nook of his neck. She always hated herself for bringing up questions in front of Jefferson that involved Delores, but she sometimes couldnt stop her thoughts from coming out.

He smiled at her not really realizing that he was smiling, it was sort of like a reflex for him. "No need to apologize darling," he patted her head absent mindedly. His thoughts were elsewhere, he was lost in his own mind. Nothing was there, he was thinking of nothing because that's how he felt at the moment. But Alicia brought him back to himself as she cuddled up beside him. He wrapped his arm around her in a hug and squeezed, "How have you been dear? Anything marvelous happen?"

Alicia smiles when she felt the squeeze of his hug. " I have been fine, a run in with Alice got me a bit sad today but im all better" She replies. She stayed cuddled up in his warm arms letting herself actually relax, "Nothing really Marvelous happened, but there is always tomorrow!" She says brightly. " And ill ask the same question How have you been daddy? Anything spectacular happen yet on this day?" She asked as she looks up at him. Her baby blue eyes, her mother`s eyes, shined with happiness with just being near her father.

"You saw Alice? What a delight that must've been," he grinned at the thought of meeting Alice again. He plucked a small flower from the ground, "Yes my dear, there is always tomorrow." He twirls the small flower around in his fingers examining it closely. "My day has been fantastic, I had a glorious feast at the tea table with some of my closest friends," tea time was his favorite time of day.

"No rather a Nightmare..I do strongly dislike her for many reasons, she may be three years older then be but that does not give her the right to treat me like a child!" Alicia says with a sigh. There was once a time when her and Alice were friends, but when they grew up she grew to hate Alice. Alicia gives a small smile " I am glad your day went by well though Daddy, i enjoy seeing you happy!" She giggles tapping his nose with her pink fingernail.

"Oh, Alice is no nightmare, you really should show her some kindness, she only wants the best for you as do I," He placed the flower behind one of her ears and smiles. She was beautiful just like her mother, he loved this about her. "I enjoy your happiness as well my dear," he pokes her cheek and giggles strangely. He tips his hat to the side so its balanced more, he doesn't like his hat to be on straight he thinks it to be too proper.

Alicia tenses up " She tries to act like mother " she says shaking her head. " She is not my mother, and until she stops acting like she is my mother i shall not show kindness to her " She explained her eyes loosing some of the happiness. Though when he put the flower behind her ear she couldnt help but smile, She takes his hat in her hands then tilts it to the other side so it looks even better. " Tilting to the left is much better then the right" She says with a smile, this time her smile reaching her eyes, soon she hugged him again. Alicia was always best known for her temperament but when she was with her father, she was a snugly loving bug who would do anything for him.

"I am sorry to hear that my sweet, but at least make an effort, for me, your daddy," he smiles poking her playfully with his last words. He liked Alice, like a close friend and didn't want Alicia to be mean, a hatter is nice not mean. As she moved his hat to the other side he suddenly felt very proud of her, "You are leaning well." He patted her back lovingly while looking off into the distance.

Alicia giggles at the poke her cheeks flushing pink happily, "Fine fine..ill do it for you" she murmurs. She suddenly smiles brightly at his praise and she nuzzles him close closing her eyes. "I love you daddy..more then all the stars in the sky but you are the brightest star" She says, it was something her and her mother always use to say to Jefferson when they were still in the human world.

Isabella walks in and looks around for the rabbit she followed here. She felt her hood up and walks up to a flower that caught her eye. She smiles and gently touch it

Nivens leaped through the brightly colored mushroom patches and stopped infront of a big one. He turned around to look at the girl following him. "Welcome to Mushroom Meadows!" He looked around hastily. "It seems my friend hasn't arrived, yet.", he said a little angrily. "What's your name?"

Isabella turn to Nivens. "Sir, my name is Isabella Jones but just call me Isabella. It beautiful here." She says and looks around, taking in everything

"Why hello Isabella." He watches her look around. "Are you a normal human that came through the portal?"

"Yea." She says then mumbles mostly to herself. "Best thing that happen to me." She wasnt treated well back in the human world

Nivens sat down and took a mushroom. "Want one?", he asked as he took a bite from it.

Isabella shook her head. "Sir i found the food here isnt nothing like back in the human world." She says but she sat down by him

Nivens looked at her astonished. "What do you eat?"

"I eat fruits and plus have grown some human plants that do well here, sir." She says looking at him

Nivens frowned as he took another bite from the colorful mushroom. "Well I have tried human food, and it is nowhere near as good as the mushrooms from Moshroom Meadows. Just try one." He picked a really colorful one for her and handed it to her.

Isabella looks at the mushroom and studied it. It was not logic to just eat a random mushroom, in the human room mushrooms are dangerous foods and there only a couple kinds you can eat. She sniffs the mushroom, then looks at the white rabbit, before sighing. "Sir, this in not logical." But then she took a bite. A first she didn't taste anything but then her face lights up and she says. "Sir it does taste amazing."

Nivens smiled happily. "Didn't I tell you. This IS Wonderland. Everything is not logical here!" He took a cookie out of his pocket. "One bite of this cookie, and you will be as tall as that mushroom!", he said pointing to a huge mushroom.

"Sir, i know nothing is logical here but i still think logical." She says then stares at the cookie. "Why would you want to be as all as that mushroom for?"

Nivens thought back to Alice. "If you want to fit through a door to small or reach up to a key to high, you'll need a cookie like this." He checked his pocket watch and sighed. "I guess my friend isn't coming after all. He must have forgotten." He closed his eyes for a moment and said, "I'm in the mood for a tea and a muffin, and you?"

Isabella laughs lightly. "Sir that was very random but tea and muffins sound pretty good right now." She looks around again and blinks it was so colorful. She never seen anything so colorful and it amaze her

Nivens got up and turned around to Isabella. "Well come along then."

Isabella follows but before she when she grab some mushrooms and put them in her bag for later. She was always in the need for food

Absolem was perched atop a giant, spotted blue mushroom that wash nearly as bright as her hair. She blew her coloured smoke into the air, her expression bored as she laid back on the mushroom with a yawn.

Nicole strolls through the meadow. Her hair is down (like the first picture.). She is wearing a grey pair of tight pants and a tight grey shirt. Her sort of small bulky bag is blue. She wonders were she is going to sleep that night. Nicky looks around her. She has been living in her own her entire life. She rolled down a hole when she was a baby.

Alice as everyone was calling him, wandered aimlessly through the meadow enjoying the view. He continued to comment on the reality of the world around him hoping that he would never have to go back to the real world ever again.

A sad girl with bright pink hair sat under a large mushroom as she sniffles. Her hatter hat fell over her eyes like always as her shoulders shook softly showing her cries as she held a picture of a beautiful brown hair woman in her hands.
