Gymnastics Academy discussion

The floor is a massively spaced area that is all blue, it is very springy so gymnasts can get more height when tumbling across its surface. There are scatter mats around the outside of the dedicated floor area and other gymnasts are warned not to go on the floor space when another gymnast is performing on it.

Kirra walked upon the blue soft floor space and and stood at the corner of the clearing. Checking if anyone was in her way she began to sprint to the other end, when she felt like it was right she used the springs in the floor and her power to push off from the ground and do a round off into a backhand spring and finally into a backwards layout. It wasn't much and was very simple for Kirra but she landed with perfection and presented to the crowd as though a judge was watching. She jumped when she heard a loud, booming and familiar voice behind her. "Very good Kirra but you disappoint me, my level 6's do that in their sleep and you are in what again-? Nine,"
Kirra spun around to see her coach, Chale sitting by a chair with a frown,"show me something worth seeing..." he leaned back in his seat with a small smirk. Kirra was outraged! He thought that level 6 skills were hard for her, please, I will show him something worth seeing Kirra thought for a moment of what do to and stood on her toes in the position to start tumbling, and then it hit her, the perfect skill that would make his jaw drop. She smiled maliciously and sprinted for the opposite corner and did front handspring into a front-sault into a front layout and then a full twist. She caught back her breath, that really took it out of her but she look at Chale with a forced smile and walked over to him, trying to be oblivious to the pain that was coming from her ankle.

From where Katrina was standing at he edge of the floor she could see the interesting relationship forming between Kirra and Chale. He had coached her previously but had never treated her with the same teasing respect, she was almost jealous. Katrina didnt realise that her face was in a sour look as her thought took over until she heard Chales voice "Kat? what are you doing?".

"Kirra don't tumble on that ankle until it feels better, get some ice if you want. Just walk it off..." and he jogged to go to another girl by the edge of the floor leaving Kirra feeling empty and lost. so he had realized my injury, nothing gets past him she thought and sighed deeply.
She left the floor trying to hide her limp to prevent further attention to her minor injury and set out for the beams area where she hoped to find a friend there to talk to and watch.

Chale: Katrina was standing by the edge of the floor, she was a lovely girl to teach, always very respectful and obedient. "Kat what are you doing?" I asked. She wasn't practicing and I hate nothing more than time wasters.
