Gymnastics Academy discussion

The beam area is full of rows of beams, from small to high beams to fat and skinny beams there is beam out there for you! There also ground beams for the younger gymnasts of the club.

Evangeline raised her hands far above her head, ready to perform a layout. It was her favourite move, and she had done it so much to the point of perfection. One, two, three. She used her momentum and swung her feet over her head, landing perfectly balanced on the apparatus. Proud, she dismounted gracefully from the beam and picked up her towel and water bottle.

Kirra approached the beams and spotted Evangeline right away. "Hey!" she limped over towards her who was drinking from her water bottle.

"Hey Kirra!" Evangeline grinned and let her lips slide off the water bottle dramatically. "What happened to you?" She asked, one eyebrow raised. Kirra was normally fine, and was good enough on the floor to never get injured.

Kirra shook her head and muttered something about Chale, stupid level 6's and a full twist. "I just need to take a break for a while....So I came here!" she said happily. "What you up to? "

"I was practicing my layouts and back tucks on the beam." Evangeline said proudly, giggling when Korea said something about Chale. That girl had it hard for him.

"Sweet, your beam routine better be epic this year. Hey why are you laughing! Are you still going on about Chale and me," she sighed but almost let a small giggle in. Kirra leaned on the beam and stared of into nothingness.

Hayai jumped into the room and saw Evangeline and Kirra standing there already. She gave them both a big wave and walked over with a broad smile on her face, her brown hair swinging left and right from her ponytail.

Haiya joined us at the beam, "hey" I nodded my head towards her in a form of greeting and looked back at Evangeline,"She was just about to show me her new skills," I addressed to Haiya,"wasn't she....?" and I gave Evangeline an award winning smile.

Hayai clapped her hands together, "Yay! New moves to learn!" She smiled too and turned to Evangeline eagerly, she was new and loved to learn.

Kirra: I giggled at Heiya's enthusiasm, its good to know that we have an enthusiast on the team I thought and waited silently for Evangeline to mount on the beam.

(hmm im not sure we shouldn't control her character but i think we should just say she did her beam routine perfectly and then we can leave, i will post first. hope she doesnt get offended.. i will email her)

Evangeline performed her skills perfectly, she clearly had been practicing hard for them and Kirra was impressed. She clapped," That is what you want to aim for, work hard and you can do stuff like that to," she said to the little girl.

Hayai awed and clapped, too, grinning and bouncing on the balls of her feet. She nodded eagerly at Kirra's words, taking them in and putting them up as her goal. She wanted to be like Evangeline...and of course her elder sister too. "You can do cool stuff like that, too, right?" Hayai asked Kirra, wanting her to shine as well.

Kirra nodded," yeah but floor is more of my forte," Haiya seemed to be a very promising gymnast"Where is your sister, trainings nearly finished i was thinking of going out to Smooth Juices?" she questioned, looking around for Hayia's sister. (( sorry if i keep getting her name wrong, japanese names always get me.... i am making smooth juice right now which is out of the gym))

"Oh, my sister's still at home helping out my father with some stuff," Hayai muttered, waving her hand a little to give a gesture that meant her sister was away. "She's usually the one that does the house chores and help out my father..." Guilt flashed across Hayai face before her usual smile returned. (Is Smooth Juices a place/store? If so then...) "And besides, I'd love to come with you! Evangeline?" the little girl turned to look for Evangeline's reaction.

"Yer lets go..." and Kirra walked away from the beams with her ankle much better. Chale looked up at Kirra and waved goodbye as he saw her leave and then went back to spotting a small girl doing a walkover.
She went out the front doors of the gymnasium and set out to go to town.

Hayai followed Kirra merrily, bouncing after her. She couldn't wait to see more of the town, usually she would just go directly home according to her father's orders. But since she had 'appropriate company', Hayai's father would have decided that this was an exception.

Evangeline followed the pair with a shrug, flinging her sweaty towel over a shoulder. She strode with a lovely confidence that only a gymnast or a dancer could pull off.
