Hidden Valley High School (No, we do not make ranch there, though some do try to convince others that we do. It's a running joke about our school's name.) Orange and blue (I've read a book where the main character went to a school with those colors, and one thing she thought was something along the lines of "what kind of school chooses those colors?" She didn't like them, but I like my school's colors.)
Go mustangs! (which is fitting because there does seem to be a lot of horses in my area.)
Wasilla High School Home of the Warriorscolors: red, grey, black, and white

Botany Downs Secondary College. Pretty much all schools in New Zealand have uniforms ours is burgundy (bleehhh), navy and white. soo thats pretty much our school colours. We have 6 houses: Spirit, Endevour, Discovery, Koru (NZ symbol), John Britten (Famous NZer) and Sir Peter Blake. I'm in Blake the red house and the best! There is really no theme to the names of the houses which is weird... I really love my school even though there is too much homework and is actually quite strict. But we are really lucky. What school has a common room for all years (Harry Potter!), lockers (we don't commonly have lockers in NZ schools) and has something going on every month (we have just had music month when at breaks there would be music and bands playing! Love my school! And we have airconditioning and heating!
Hahahahaha! My school actually has a lot of stuff for people who aren't sporty. There is a book club, you can be a librarian, astronomy club, environmental group, choir, chess etc.
My school is Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I'm on my 7th year. We have four houses here: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and my house, Slytherin. Our colors are green and silver and our emblematic animal is serpent. Our motto is Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus which means Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon.Seriously, my house is THE BEST.
http://www.magherafelthigh.org/ClubSo... my schools crest and our colours are light blue and dark blue and the girls uniforms are light blue and the boys uniform is grey and navy

Yea my school is very big on the sports side but we also do a lot of service stuff. The teachers are pretty awesome too. My math teacher did a remake of the Gangnam style video last year. Its hilarious. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etxfKF... you guys should check it out for a good laugh :)

OMG hahahahahaha awesome!
@Vahhaba I go to an all girls school too...I go to Sydney Girls High School.
Our school is 'academically selective' in that you have to take an entry test to get in, and to make matter worse our uniform is BROWN and WHITE, so you can imagine we get made fun of a lot, or at least people just assume we're 'really smart' We don't we care though, we make fun of ourselves too :D
Being all smart and everything, of course we have to have a LATIN motto, it's Labor Omnia Vincit which means Work Conquers All :X
We're an awesome bunch, everybody is friends with everybody and we don't have much cliquey stuff going on. We do have our own friendship groups and lunchtimes and things, but in class we all hang out.
The best thing is that pretty much EVERYBODY is a bookworm :) or at least reads.

I went to St. Peter's College our colours were Green and gold. We used to have to wear a tie with our winter uniform but they've given up with those now.

We were all like "but isn't it colder in Russia?" Her reply was "yes but our schools have heating" she made a lot of friends that winter LOL
haha, thats almost as ridiculous as this one time my bio teacher let this girl straigthen her hair in class because she was new to the school.
W have a new Korean student and she did press ups on the first day and accidentally said fu*k to the teacher
meh it doesn't really effect me if it is true. I mean if it isn't their first language you can't blame them. its like being blamed for not speaking hebrew fluently or something
people say they can't understadn me because i don't say yeah/nah or yeah bro. stuff. I am English i come from Bristol and i HATE the NZ accent. I really dislike it
I woulf feel offended but I dont have the kiwi accent either, not sure what i would classify my accent as though.
I have a mix, so i guess i can diss my own accent. I mean it has so effect on the people NZ'ers are VERY friendly and willing to help. Its just our accent is very similar to Australia's just not so nasal
I go to St Patricks College :)Our colours are green and gold, and we don't have a mascot because.. well, never really needed one. We have about 1500-1600 kids at our school, so we're split into four houses and sub houses as well.
They're
Rice (Named after Edmund Rice) - Subhouses are Rice Bourke and Rice Chism
Nagle (Named after Nano Nagle) - Subhouses are Nagle Rochester and Nagle Young
Tenison (Named after Father Julian Tenison Woods) - Subhouses are Tenison Delaney and Tenison Cotham
Mackillop (Named after St Mary Mackillop) - Subhouses are Mackillop Moore and Mackillop Barry.
In case you haven't figured it out, we're a Catholic school ;)
St Pats is awesome. I love our library (but they restrict the YA novels to Grade 9 and above :'( ) and our facilities are great, especially the sport. We have two separate campuses- The Croagh Patrick Campus ( for Grade Nines only) and the Main campus for everyone else. Everyone is accepted and included- every morning we have a thing called Tutor where in grade 7 you were assigned a House and Subhouse, you are assigned to a tutorgroup (eg. I'm in Rice Bourke, and i'm in RB8) and each tutor group has 3-8 kids from each year level in it and a Tutor teacher. That's where we read the messages in the bulletin, etc. We also have the Learning Aid and Councelling for the people who struggle with their school work or socially, etc. and then a Gifted and Talented for the people whose intelligence is way further advanced for their year level.
It's awesome :) I love my school.
OMg St PAts is a guys school here in Wellington. M school has houses as well;
Jellicoe
Haddie
Baber
Swainson
Johnson
Richmond
Woah that's a lot of houses O.oAlthough i can't really talk :P
And really? We're a mixed school, so we have both boys and girls.

That sounds so awesome!
I go to Assumption Antipolo, which is an all-girls Catholic School. School colors are blue, gold and white.
Our uniforms are really strict. We have this red plaid skirt which should end 3 inches below the knee. A white blouse with a HUGE collar. A plaid red necktie which should measure 3 inches below the know. White socks and black shoes. Our hair ties should only be in colors red, black and white. We also have a pin with the school logo which should be pinned to the left side of our collar. No necklaces, dangling earrings and jewelry. Only stud earrings and a watch are allowed.
Pretty strict, huh?
I go to Villa Maria College and our school colours are our house colors green, red, blue, yellow, orange, purple. Are uniforms are pretty bad too.
I was wondering is it uncommon in your countries to have a uniform at school? It is very common in New Zealand and Australia that's all I know.
Haha my school uniform well no just no oh crap I have to go back to school tomorrow :( (also meaning I'll be less active please forgive me)
Yea holidays have just started it is awesome NO SCHOOL YAY!!!

That's like our school! We have green plaid skirts that can be a maximum of two inches above the knee. They also have these folds at the top so it's impossible to roll your skirt up. We have a new uniform coming in, so at the moment only the Grade 7's have the new uniform (which, I think, looks disgusting :( ) but at the moment the girls wear polished brown shoes with fawn stockings and cream shirts. We then have green ties, green jumpers and our green blazers emblazoned with the school logo and motto. If your caught in town while wearing your uniform and you don't have your blazer on, random people can report it to the school and you get a detention :(
We're also not allowed to have painted nails, dangly or patterned earrings (only studs) no jewelry, our hair bands have to be blonde or brown, and we're only allowed to have white, green or gold ribbons.
Emma wrote: "Yea holidays have just started it is awesome NO SCHOOL YAY!!!"We're in our second week of school holidays. We have to go back next Tuesday (on the 23rd) :'(
Yeah well it depends what state you're in and if you go to a private school, in NSW we go back tomorrow :( Which means getting up 6 hours before I have been lately. Oh and first period we have a PDHPE test and second period we have a Science Skills test :( So yeah not happy
I have two weeks off and homework and training so not much of a vacation really.
