I loved Spider's Bite! Loved her second one, too.

The violent parts were good, the rest is typical UF. Also, I saw the part about her sister being alive right away!

I just downloaded the audio book, I can't wait to read it!

I figured her sister was alive, but have only read the first two. Curious about who rescued her sister--for good or evil--& why her sister was so important to the killers. So that just added a little extra for me. I didn't mind the typical UF, but the detective was so freakin' "good," he got on my nerves. Like the new guy a lot more in book two. At least, I hope he's the new guy.

I just love a guy who can always jump the protagonist's bones and then feel guilty about it???? Arrgh!

Loved it! It is a intriguing premise. Imagine Hunger Games, Star Wars, Alexander the Great with a touch of mythology blended into a wonderful crafted story. Plenty action, strategy, characters that you love and those you despise. What could be better?
