Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ Griffen walked alongside Ember, in silence, as they admired the view of the meadow. It was truly, a beautiful and tranquil place. The way the breeze would bend the long grass, and how the green seemed to stretch into the distance. Not to mention, the fact that they were usually the only people here. Peace and quiet. Away from the society. It was the one place where they could be and not have to worry about getting caught. Though, now, almost a year after joining the guard, they had no worries about that. But something about the meadow always put him at peace. Perhaps it was the fact that they were away from prying eyes. Maybe it was the view. Or maybe, perhaps this was the biggest of them all, maybe this was just his sacred ground with Ember. He looked over at her and smiled. Though he frowned as he noticed the expression on her face. "What are you thinking about?" He asked, concern edging into his voice.

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ Griffen could sense that she didn't want him to push it. Not only from his powers, but because he just knew her. Though he did tell from his abilities that she didn't like the tone of his voice, and that she was hinting at him to stop. He wished he didn't. He felt as if he was being evasive on her thoughts. For others, it wasn't a big deal. But with Ember, whom he loved and respected, it was different. Which was why he was trying to learn how to sort of "shut off" his power around her. Or at the very least learn to ignore them. But so far he had no success. "Certainly. I enjoy this fabric very much. It's extremely comfortable." He said simply. Looking around, he decided that he was done walking. So without a word, he simply smiled and laid back, in a half falling manner, pulling Ember with him.

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ "When have I ever given you warning?" Griffen asked with a smile, as she rested her head upon his chest. They laid there for a while, no words uttered between them, yet so much was said. Griffen relaxed into the moment. Enjoying its tranquility and peace. And above all Ember. What had seemed impossible a little over a year ago, was now next to him. They weren't just together. They were set to get married. Though he wished, he could pick her up now and have the ceremony done and over with. But they still had some time to go before it was official. Soon, though. Soon. It would be.

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ ((I just realized. They "fell in love the way you fall asleep. Slowly, then all at once." :O :D ))

Griffen smiled as her lips met his before he kissed her back, his hand moving up her back before it tangled itself into her hair. In that moment, everything else turned to a blur. And it was just him and Ember. His mind was void of any thought. The only thing he was aware of was Ember kissing him and it felt so perfect having her next to him and how he would give up anything for her, do anything for her. He was so fortunate to be marrying for love and not for his parents. He couldn't help but smile against her lips.
