Walking through the town was an experience Nesley never seemed to get over. It continually amazed him every time, never getting old. He liked the way people interacted with each other here. There were so many people in the one place, that nothing was abnormal. There was always someone doing something worse than you, so you acted out knowing there was a cover-up. Someone else to draw the attention away from yourself.
As Nesley gazed out the window, he glanced at a couple kissing. Like actually kissing in the middle of the sidewalk, completely unabashed in the action. They couldn't be married, they looked young. He looked away in embarrassment, realizing he might have been staring. The other thing he liked was the way people seemed to treat each other. It was like no one knew what class anyone else was in, so they were all equally rude... but that could stem from the fact that no one expected high-society folk in these parts, so no one really thought there was something they had to fear. Hell, Nesley had been pushed into the road twice because he'd been walking the wrong way on the path. There was no, Excuse me... no please, you first... Just pushing.
You wouldn't think someone of Nesley's nature would like that, but he did nonetheless. There was something refreshing about the Town Square. It made him feel like a person, not a Noble--just an average person. Since no one was afraid of him or his stature... they treated him like they would any other person passing them on the street.

Making sure no one who knew her saw her, she turned around again to walk back home when she crashed into a man who was kissing a girl. "I'm so sorry,"She told him hurriedly as she scrambled away, her cheeks tinting with a scarlet blush. She wasn't accustomed to people kissing in public especially if they weren't married. She had only ever seen her parents kiss and even then she looked away during those intimate moments. Lost in thought she was unaware of her surroundings when she knocked into someone, literally. Caught off guard, she let out a soft gasp before falling to the floor. Startled, she collected herself and was about to mutter a soft sorry and decide to go home when she caught sight of who she had knocked into.
Nesley. Noble Nesley. Nesley who knew her. Nesley who knew her family. He was kind of quiet like her and she was almost sure he wouldn't mention it to her parents but she was still a bit nervous. "Hi Nesley,"She gave him a shy smile. "I'm sorry about that. I wasn't looking where I was going. Can I make it up to you?" She looked around as she fingered her necklace nervously. "Would you like a cookie or some cake?"

Aveline walks towards the owner of the bakery and pays the full amount for the few loaves of bread, trying her best to avoid his gaze no matter how hard the owner tries to catch a glimpse of her face. It was a risk you weren’t willing to take. Everyone in Porcelain Glass had an ability, either magical or deadly. Though no matter what ability and individual possessed, they made each of them unique from the rest. If you might not have guessed, Aveline’s ability was of the deadly sort. Petrification. And for simply being born with such an ability she was shunned and bullied from her classmates since she was young. It was best to keep a low profile or things would be trouble. In fact, she was actually looking forward to her birthday. Until then, she would be fully banned from using her ability. Maybe she would be able to confidently walk around without the cloak. Though right now, she had to focus on getting out of this place before anyone would stop to engage in a conversation.
[ This is crappy :P Sorry, cher ]
Nesley's first reaction was to pull the girl to her feet, the second was to nearly drop her. He didn't recognize her until she uttered his name, then he knew he was in for it. Nobles didn't exactly run around Town Square like peasants... Nes could just imagine what way Nicholas would spin this if the information reached his ears--and it always seemed to. It was Rosalinda Orion, he'd met her a couple of times... but that had always been enough.
He met her eyes, stepping back immediately to a respectful distance. "Please, the fault was mine." he said automatically, trying to make up for his lapse of politeness. Nes couldn't seem to remember anything about how Rosalinda had acted, only that the first thing he should do was start their encounter out politely. He'd already kind of shot that horse in the face though, huh? With running into her and stuff. Or had she run into him? That didn't matter. He was the guy... his fault.
Taking in her appearance, Nesley tried to control his expression. He hated when people forced him into interacting with them... it pulled him into this nervous state where he fumbled on his words--it's what happened when you surprised him into something. Though it didn't look like she was entirely excited to see him either? Maybe she was having some of his same thoughts. "No, it's fine Lady Orion. Do you require assistance?"

"Rosalinda is fine,"She told him gently with a shy smile. "And I'm okay it's just a basket with a necklace inside. I guess I don't know how to shop,"She giggled nervously.
