Walking through the town was an experience Nesley never seemed to get over. It continually amazed him every time, never getting old. He liked the way people interacted with each other here. There were so many people in the one place, that nothing was abnormal. There was always someone doing something worse than you, so you acted out knowing there was a cover-up. Someone else to draw the attention away from yourself.

As Nesley gazed out the window, he glanced at a couple kissing. Like actually kissing in the middle of the sidewalk, completely unabashed in the action. They couldn't be married, they looked young. He looked away in embarrassment, realizing he might have been staring. The other thing he liked was the way people seemed to treat each other. It was like no one knew what class anyone else was in, so they were all equally rude... but that could stem from the fact that no one expected high-society folk in these parts, so no one really thought there was something they had to fear. Hell, Nesley had been pushed into the road twice because he'd been walking the wrong way on the path. There was no, Excuse me... no please, you first... Just pushing.

You wouldn't think someone of Nesley's nature would like that, but he did nonetheless. There was something refreshing about the Town Square. It made him feel like a person, not a Noble--just an average person. Since no one was afraid of him or his stature... they treated him like they would any other person passing them on the street.

Kit (kitkong) "Thank you,"Rosalinda whispered to the vendor softly as she exchanged the coins in her hands for the necklace in his. "Come again soon!" He called after her as she dropped the necklace in the small basket she carried with her whenever she came to town. It was her only one and it was supposed to be used to hold her stuff at him but she needed something in case she bought anything. And if she took her bag her mother would question hr and was a horrible liar. Her mother would figure out where she was going and wouldn't be allowed here again.

Making sure no one who knew her saw her, she turned around again to walk back home when she crashed into a man who was kissing a girl. "I'm so sorry,"She told him hurriedly as she scrambled away, her cheeks tinting with a scarlet blush. She wasn't accustomed to people kissing in public especially if they weren't married. She had only ever seen her parents kiss and even then she looked away during those intimate moments. Lost in thought she was unaware of her surroundings when she knocked into someone, literally. Caught off guard, she let out a soft gasp before falling to the floor. Startled, she collected herself and was about to mutter a soft sorry and decide to go home when she caught sight of who she had knocked into.

Nesley. Noble Nesley. Nesley who knew her. Nesley who knew her family. He was kind of quiet like her and she was almost sure he wouldn't mention it to her parents but she was still a bit nervous. "Hi Nesley,"She gave him a shy smile. "I'm sorry about that. I wasn't looking where I was going. Can I make it up to you?" She looked around as she fingered her necklace nervously. "Would you like a cookie or some cake?"

yael The bell attached above the door chimed as she entered the bakery. The smell of fresh - baked goods wafted in the air, engulfing her in its delicious aroma with every step she took into the bakery. The smell always appealed to her, since it always reminded her of her father baking nearly everytime she returned home. The corners of her lips twitched slightly at the memory, though the rest of her emotions layed under wraps. As she progresses, she doesn’t make eye contact with the customers already in the store, but keeps her gaze down on the floor as if she wants to be invisible more than anything else. Silky, pale pink fabric streams past her legs as she walks towards a section of the bakery exclusively for bread. A woven basket hangs off of her arm, and a small piece of fabric is inside it to prevent others from viewing its contents - which seemed like a lot since it was a bit lumpy. Something in the basket twitched, and she notices a small pink nose poke out of the fabric. Aveline presses a finger to her lips to signal the small orange cat to keep quiet. If th creature caused a ruckus, the attention will be an issue. A longer piece of fabric, a cream - tan color loosely wrapped around her head to shield her gaze as well as her facial features from everyone. Yeah, it seemed a bit extra to go as far as hiding her face, though the action was necessary. The two metallic bracelets on her wrist jingled as she reached out for a few loaves of bread and layed it on top of the fabric to purchase later on. The bracelets were simple, and held no real value to her. Her most precious treasure, was around her neck, hidden by the fabric that shielded her. Indeed, it was rare, and a bit too nice for a peasant like herself to have, though it was a gift from her father, as far as Aveline knew. No, it wasn’t gold, or silver, though a mineral hanging off of a chain. Her most precious possession.

Aveline walks towards the owner of the bakery and pays the full amount for the few loaves of bread, trying her best to avoid his gaze no matter how hard the owner tries to catch a glimpse of her face. It was a risk you weren’t willing to take. Everyone in Porcelain Glass had an ability, either magical or deadly. Though no matter what ability and individual possessed, they made each of them unique from the rest. If you might not have guessed, Aveline’s ability was of the deadly sort. Petrification. And for simply being born with such an ability she was shunned and bullied from her classmates since she was young. It was best to keep a low profile or things would be trouble. In fact, she was actually looking forward to her birthday. Until then, she would be fully banned from using her ability. Maybe she would be able to confidently walk around without the cloak. Though right now, she had to focus on getting out of this place before anyone would stop to engage in a conversation.

[ This is crappy :P Sorry, cher ]

Nesley's first reaction was to pull the girl to her feet, the second was to nearly drop her. He didn't recognize her until she uttered his name, then he knew he was in for it. Nobles didn't exactly run around Town Square like peasants... Nes could just imagine what way Nicholas would spin this if the information reached his ears--and it always seemed to. It was Rosalinda Orion, he'd met her a couple of times... but that had always been enough.

He met her eyes, stepping back immediately to a respectful distance. "Please, the fault was mine." he said automatically, trying to make up for his lapse of politeness. Nes couldn't seem to remember anything about how Rosalinda had acted, only that the first thing he should do was start their encounter out politely. He'd already kind of shot that horse in the face though, huh? With running into her and stuff. Or had she run into him? That didn't matter. He was the guy... his fault.

Taking in her appearance, Nesley tried to control his expression. He hated when people forced him into interacting with them... it pulled him into this nervous state where he fumbled on his words--it's what happened when you surprised him into something. Though it didn't look like she was entirely excited to see him either? Maybe she was having some of his same thoughts. "No, it's fine Lady Orion. Do you require assistance?"

Kit (kitkong) Rosalinda shook her head,"It wasn't your fault. I should have watched where I was going. Besides I bumped into you, there's no need for you to try and take the fault for my clumsiness." She smiled politely as she tried to stay calm. All she had wanted to do was some shopping alone but she would run into a noble of all places. Her mother will be furious if she knows she was at the market, especially by herself. Biting her lip she looked down, wondering what she should do.

"Rosalinda is fine,"She told him gently with a shy smile. "And I'm okay it's just a basket with a necklace inside. I guess I don't know how to shop,"She giggled nervously.
