At another smack upside the head from Celeste, Asher scowled and stifled the look before turning to look at Celeste with a pleasant smirk on his face. Leaning up against the dock slightly, his arms crossed on the wooden surface as he looked up at her he couldn't help but smile. "Peasant? Oh dear, are you feeling well Celeste? It seems you've forgotten that you're not a noble." He paused and then his smirk widened slightly, "Not anymore. You forget that the guard is made up of thugs and brutes. Although I suppose you're more wench than you are thug or brute." Shrugging his shoulders in a way that indicated there was nothing anyone could do he knew Celeste's own temper would spike up. After all she was just as easy to anger as he was. She just showed her anger off a lot more. Tending to throw things about and get especially mad whenever she did it. His eyes dropped to her sword and he smirked, "Nice sword you got there. Iron or steel? Steel's great, there's almost something electrifying about it." Looking back up to her eyes he continued to smirk. Had he just made a not so subtle joke about electricity? Or was it a threat? Hard to tell wasn't it.

"Always alone, am I? And yet you say you have better things to do than follow me. Yet you know my routines like the back of your hand. Should I be flattered or worried?" Asher smirked at her and then when she stood and pointed the sword towards his head he raised a brow, obviously not worried that she would attack him. "Celeste, don't you know senseless violence against citizens is against the law? You might be part of the law, but you're no Royal." He paused and then held out his hand which was wrapped around a metal scraper. It was only about 5 inches long and not dangerous but it was soon dangerous. Bolts of electricity arced around it creating small visible lightning charges. It only lasted a few seconds before he stopped and shrugged, "I imagine the effect would be the same with your sword, and I have better things to do than deal with you and your issues" Turning around he went back to his work figuring that she'd leave him alone soon enough. After all it wasn't his fault she couldn't seem to let go of the past and always had to feel authoritative. What did they call that? A power issue? No.....there was a name for it.

The intimidating guard? Not so much. People would immediately stop talking when the guard walked by. Or at least hush down. When a merchant walked by? They continued right on talking. Looking at the side of the boat he frowned slightly wondering if that was why Celeste always lashed out at him. Was she just looking for a friend? If she was the witch could rot in hell for all he cared. To him she was just a nuisance. A blip in his otherwise good life. She was a dark cloud and he despised her. Loathed her. He was certain that if she was surrounded by sharks in the water and he was the only one who could save her? He'd throw some chum into the water and sit back as she was eaten. But hey, hatred was all that could happen after years of her tormenting him. Ever since she joined the guard all she did was flaunt about in front of him as though she had become a God or something.

"Pity. Jumping in the water like this? You're ruining your clothes." As if to prove his point he pulled slightly at the clothing that clung to her like a second skin, just enough to pinch it between his fingertips before tsking his tongue. Her power rolled through him and it was only with immense will that Asher hadn't already kissed her. But you know what? He would. Partly because of her power and partly because he wanted to know her reaction. After all if he was worth so little to her, why would she even want to provoke a kiss from him. Which is why he was now only centimeters away from her, their faces barely not touching, his lips only a breath away from hers. "You don't really want me to kiss you, do you?"

Giving her one more sharp glare he turned and went to the dock. Pulling himself up out of the water in one swift movement, well he would come back later to finish working on the boat. Maybe deal with it tomorrow. Right now though? He was getting out of there before he really started going off. When that happened he wasn't sure he'd be able to stop. The thing about his power was that yeah, it was all fun and games in controlled amounts. But if he let it go? It would take over and it would burn through him, killing him in the process. His blood was boiling with anger at Celeste. At what she had done. At how she had dared to use her power against him. Damn corrupt government and it's stupid corrupt guards. Damn her. Storming down the dock he couldn't help but silently rage. It was only at the end of the dock that he realized he had to go back and put the boat back in the water. So, as embarrassing as it was he turned around and stormed back over. "Get out of the way Celeste." He growled not even looking at her in his anger.

Okay so yeah that response might've been just a bit sarcastic, but c'mon did she really expect to get a real answer out of him? After all that she'd been doing? Ha, he thought not. I mean sure Asher had tormented her as a kid, when he saw her, which was few times anyway since she had been a Noble. But what was he supposed to do? He'd been a stupid boy and she'd been a pretty girl, of course he was going to torment her. It's not like he could've told her he liked her. That was crazy of anyone to think that. Shaking his head he stopped turning the dial and then frowned down at her, "You should clean off your sword. Letting the water dry on it like that will promote rust." He didn't think she'd have left her sword in the water, which was why he had tossed it. But her keeping it so that it would what? Air dry? Practically inviting the rust to settle on it? C'mon Celeste, he'd thought she had a lot more sense than that.
