~RP~ (This is mostly for commercial businesses)

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Asher sighed as he inhaled the salty scent of the ocean. Most people would've been excited to come to the docks and work there instead of the crowded markets of town square. Of course....most people were not Asher. He preferred the loud businesses of people shifting about as they tried to find what they wanted to buy. Of course that wasn't in his cards. Instead his dad sent him off to the docks to check out the boats they had there. Make sure that the boats there were still functioning and what not. Naturally Asher spent the better part of the morning checking the boats only to find that one of them was practically junk. Which meant he'd had to go back to town, get tools and then come back here and pull the boat up out of the water and up on the pull system so that he could get to the bottom of it and start to pry off the barnacles growing on it and what not. Which is how he found himself up to his waist in the water prying barnacles off the bottom of some stupid boat that could at best hold about 4 people. A leisure boat and yet right now his only thoughts towards it were how fast he could burn it.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Scraping off a barnacle Asher scowled and was about to let out a rather colorful stream of curse words that would've made even a sailor stop, but he was glad he hadn't for right before he opened his mouth to mutter the words under his breath the silky honey smooth voice of Celeste washed over him. Her words were laced with a taunt as though he really had stooped so low as to just do this for his job. Still he paused his work and looked over towards the girl raising a brow at her in silent question, "Following me around now? I always knew you were attracted to me but following me around while I work, that's a little much even for you, hon." Turning his back to her deliberately he continued to work, mostly because he didn't like standing around in the water. His clothes felt like a second skin which was not all that comfortable. He didn't really know why Celeste liked to torment him, why she always showed up around him on her shifts as a guard as though waiting for him to screw up somehow. Like that would ever happen.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay At the feeling of Celeste's boot prodding the back of his head, Asher felt his temper spike up a bit and he had to take a moment to calm down. Getting mad right now? Wouldn't help anyone. For one thing he might end up electrocuting a bunch of people, and as a result? Celeste would gladly haul him off to the dungeon or something. After a moment he turned and rose a brow at her, "No? Really? Gee I hadn't seen that." His voice was thick with the accent of sarcasm. After all he'd only done about half of the boat by now. So naturally there were places he hadn't gotten to yet. Looking her up and down his pale eyes took their time as though he was checking her out, and after a moment a smile curled his lips and when he turned back to start prying and scraping the next barnacle he was obviously laughing a bit, clear by the way his shoulders shook slightly. Oh yes. He was laughing at her. And he couldn't wait to see her temper get fired up over that.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay [all I could think of is that moment when Snape slams Ron and Harry's heads towards their books xD]

At another smack upside the head from Celeste, Asher scowled and stifled the look before turning to look at Celeste with a pleasant smirk on his face. Leaning up against the dock slightly, his arms crossed on the wooden surface as he looked up at her he couldn't help but smile. "Peasant? Oh dear, are you feeling well Celeste? It seems you've forgotten that you're not a noble." He paused and then his smirk widened slightly, "Not anymore. You forget that the guard is made up of thugs and brutes. Although I suppose you're more wench than you are thug or brute." Shrugging his shoulders in a way that indicated there was nothing anyone could do he knew Celeste's own temper would spike up. After all she was just as easy to anger as he was. She just showed her anger off a lot more. Tending to throw things about and get especially mad whenever she did it. His eyes dropped to her sword and he smirked, "Nice sword you got there. Iron or steel? Steel's great, there's almost something electrifying about it." Looking back up to her eyes he continued to smirk. Had he just made a not so subtle joke about electricity? Or was it a threat? Hard to tell wasn't it.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay [haha it's what anyone thinks of whenever smacking of the head is going on xD]

"Always alone, am I? And yet you say you have better things to do than follow me. Yet you know my routines like the back of your hand. Should I be flattered or worried?" Asher smirked at her and then when she stood and pointed the sword towards his head he raised a brow, obviously not worried that she would attack him. "Celeste, don't you know senseless violence against citizens is against the law? You might be part of the law, but you're no Royal." He paused and then held out his hand which was wrapped around a metal scraper. It was only about 5 inches long and not dangerous but it was soon dangerous. Bolts of electricity arced around it creating small visible lightning charges. It only lasted a few seconds before he stopped and shrugged, "I imagine the effect would be the same with your sword, and I have better things to do than deal with you and your issues" Turning around he went back to his work figuring that she'd leave him alone soon enough. After all it wasn't his fault she couldn't seem to let go of the past and always had to feel authoritative. What did they call that? A power issue? No.....there was a name for it.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay "Would they really kill me Celeste? Plenty of guard members are sick and tired of you. I'm pretty sure they'd be glad to be done with you." Asher responded easily. He'd heard guard members, talk about how they were tired of Celeste being so cocky and bossy all the time. He really hadn't heard many people praise her though. Talk about how wonderful she was. As far as he knew. She didn't have any friends. How pathetically sad. "I think I'd be okay with death so long as you weren't around to bother other people. Lest you start to torment some other merchant." Shrugging his shoulders he continued to scrap the side of the boat. "I think you'd be better offended Celeste. Your company to me is worth less than scraping this boat. You're worth less to me than boat shit is." Prying off another barnacle he continued to work, after all he would much rather be a merchant than a member of the royal guard any day. As a merchant he was able to talk to towns people and not have them stop conversations at the sight of him.

The intimidating guard? Not so much. People would immediately stop talking when the guard walked by. Or at least hush down. When a merchant walked by? They continued right on talking. Looking at the side of the boat he frowned slightly wondering if that was why Celeste always lashed out at him. Was she just looking for a friend? If she was the witch could rot in hell for all he cared. To him she was just a nuisance. A blip in his otherwise good life. She was a dark cloud and he despised her. Loathed her. He was certain that if she was surrounded by sharks in the water and he was the only one who could save her? He'd throw some chum into the water and sit back as she was eaten. But hey, hatred was all that could happen after years of her tormenting him. Ever since she joined the guard all she did was flaunt about in front of him as though she had become a God or something.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay "Like you said, Celeste...there are no prying eyes here. Do you honestly think the royals would take the word of a dead woman over the sole witness? It would be all too easy to push your body out to sea." Smirking slightly, Asher felt the effects take place as Celeste used her power on him, her pupils dilating and as she ran her hand along his jawline. Putting his hands on her waist he twisted her in the water, her back pressed against the clean side of the boat he leaned in close, "Much less? How much less, Celeste? Tell me. Because if I'm worth so much less to you, why is it you save your tormenting for me? Are you upset with yourself, Celeste? Upset that you might have feelings for me?" It was amazing how Asher was acting, leaning in close to her, his voice lowered, slightly rough but that was just his voice. He had a sort of rough sounding voice. Looking at her with his green eyes he smiled, and had anyone been there it would've looked to them like two lovers in the water about to kiss. To those active parties? It was merely dragging out more taunting.

"Pity. Jumping in the water like this? You're ruining your clothes." As if to prove his point he pulled slightly at the clothing that clung to her like a second skin, just enough to pinch it between his fingertips before tsking his tongue. Her power rolled through him and it was only with immense will that Asher hadn't already kissed her. But you know what? He would. Partly because of her power and partly because he wanted to know her reaction. After all if he was worth so little to her, why would she even want to provoke a kiss from him. Which is why he was now only centimeters away from her, their faces barely not touching, his lips only a breath away from hers. "You don't really want me to kiss you, do you?"

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Lips still pulling up into a slight smirk, Asher brought up a hand to cup the side of her face as he kissed her. Touching her cheek though there was a slight shock, like the kind one would get from static and then he pulled back from her and his flirtatious, arrogant, infuriating smirk? Turned into a hard, cold, angry scowl. His eyes were shifting hues of anger as he looked at her. "Don't. Use. Your. Power. On. Me." He enunciated each word carefully, wanting to make sure she heard every word ring through the air. When he stepped back he lifted something, the hand that had been at her waist? Had grabbed her sword and now the tip of her own sword was angled at her throat. It was a nice sword too. Not too badly balanced. A little small for his own preference. No doubt made to fit her size and her weight to be easy for her to wield. It would be easy enough to hurt her right now if he wanted. But the thing was.....for all his anger at her. He wasn't a killer. Which was why he threw the sword down between them. The cold metal sinking beneath the waves and into the murky sand.

Giving her one more sharp glare he turned and went to the dock. Pulling himself up out of the water in one swift movement, well he would come back later to finish working on the boat. Maybe deal with it tomorrow. Right now though? He was getting out of there before he really started going off. When that happened he wasn't sure he'd be able to stop. The thing about his power was that yeah, it was all fun and games in controlled amounts. But if he let it go? It would take over and it would burn through him, killing him in the process. His blood was boiling with anger at Celeste. At what she had done. At how she had dared to use her power against him. Damn corrupt government and it's stupid corrupt guards. Damn her. Storming down the dock he couldn't help but silently rage. It was only at the end of the dock that he realized he had to go back and put the boat back in the water. So, as embarrassing as it was he turned around and stormed back over. "Get out of the way Celeste." He growled not even looking at her in his anger.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Pausing at her words it was just enough to distract Asher from his anger for a moment as he looked at her. Did he shock her that much? No. It was a small static shock. Nothing that would've addled her brains. Yet she was acting like a day-dreaming girl. And the real type of girl the kind that was a bit nice or whatever. The kind that most certainly wasn't Celeste. Celeste was too aggressive to be a real girl, right? She was most certainly like a demon or something, right? At least that's what Asher told himself. Frowning as he looked down at her he wondered for a moment about pushing her back with his foot and she would just fall right into the water again. Ahhh what an entertaining little fantasy. However he just stepped around her, accidentally brushing his foot up against her back as he passed by. Going to the mechanism he spun the dial and the boat that was out of the water was slowly lowered back into the water. "No Celeste. I'm God. I don't wonder about anything, I know it all."

Okay so yeah that response might've been just a bit sarcastic, but c'mon did she really expect to get a real answer out of him? After all that she'd been doing? Ha, he thought not. I mean sure Asher had tormented her as a kid, when he saw her, which was few times anyway since she had been a Noble. But what was he supposed to do? He'd been a stupid boy and she'd been a pretty girl, of course he was going to torment her. It's not like he could've told her he liked her. That was crazy of anyone to think that. Shaking his head he stopped turning the dial and then frowned down at her, "You should clean off your sword. Letting the water dry on it like that will promote rust." He didn't think she'd have left her sword in the water, which was why he had tossed it. But her keeping it so that it would what? Air dry? Practically inviting the rust to settle on it? C'mon Celeste, he'd thought she had a lot more sense than that.
