(bleeeeeh that was bad)
Making her way towards the pen in which Tobias stood, Ariella smiled at the sight before her. There really wasn't anything more adorable to her than Tobias. She couldn't explain it... it's not like she had feelings for him, there was just an air about him that compelled Ariella to be kind. Imagine that, right? He just seemed so sweet, it was as if one glare would cause him to burst into tears for days. Okay, that was an exaggeration... he could probably hold his own, she had just yet to see him engage in any kind of display of that side of him.
Besides, she didn't always feel this way about him. It was just she hadn't seen him in a couple of days and that lamb was pretty freaking cute. "Hey, Tobi." she greeted him, distracting herself with the act of pulling her hair back into a ponytail. It was bad enough to her parents that she worked here, wearing pants and dirtying herself up in a working apron. The last thing she needed was some type of animal feces in her hair.

"I haven't seen you for a couple days. Been up to no good?" He teased light-heartedly. While the two weren't particularly close, because even Tobi wasn't sure how she felt towards him in terms of friendship, he still felt that after working with her for a while now it was okay to tease her. He hoped he was right because as much as he searched for the good in people, and he believed there was plenty of good in Ariella, he was pretty sure she could eat him alive if she wanted to. That sort of frightened him, but he smiled nonetheless.
"I'm intrigued today." she smiled, leaning against the edge of the fence. Ariella was the stand and observe type around here, not interacting with any of the animals unless she was asked to. It's not that she didn't like them or anything... it's just how she was raised. You are not to act until asked to. Old habits die hard? Ari just expected people to give her an order, she wasn't accustomed to doing what was expected before asked to.
Ariella laughed lightly, blinking innocently at their banter. "If I was up to no good, I wouldn't be displaying it, now would I?" she asked. Of course that was somewhat of a blatant lie. Ari didn't actually have a problem with showing her true colors, which in a way, was putting her attitude out on display. It wasn't an easily answered question, the more she thought about it. "I've actually been a perfect lady, as you assumed I'm sure. And yourself?"

Walking over to the fence, he chuckled. "No I guess not, but who doesn't enjoy putting on a good show?" Letting himself out of the small pen, Tobi raised a brow at her last comment almost as if in disbelief, but of course he was joking. "No, actually I assumed the opposite. I thought you were being a wild child, an absolute menace to your dear family," he teased. Though he shrugged as he continued. "I've been the perfect child, naturally." Smiling over at Ariella, he asked, "Want to grab a snack then help me feed some of the other little ones?"
Ariella smiled, a tilted kind that showed he always asked the right questions. "I fell off a bridge, showed me a new point of view from the bottom-up." she answered, just about as much as she was going to elaborate on the subject. She watched as he moved, mirroring his motions by shifting backwards herself. It was just a habit--moving to give people their respectful space... it was just... a thing you did. Unless you choose not to intentionally, then that showed others what you thought of them.
"I'm anything but a menace, Tobi. Like I said, I'm a perfect lady." she added, her smile growing into a grin. Ariella liked Tobi more and more every time they encountered each other, she had to admit he was growing a little bit on her. "As for you?" she laughed, following him as he walked--an unsaid acceptance to his query, "I wouldn't doubt it. I'm sure you're a perfectly lady just the same as me."

Though he cracked a grin at her later comments. "I don't know, you can be pretty menacing, Air," he chuckled. "Hey, I'm not a perfect lady, I'm a perfect lad. If you haven't noticed but I am a man." He cleared his throat, placing his hands on his hips as he puffed out his chest. However he held the pose for a few second before laughing at himself.
Smiling a little at his concern, Ariella shrugged. "It was pretty traumatic, for a second I was so scared I started seeing double." She teased. "In all honesty though, I'm better than ever. I would demonstrate, but I'm kind of tired. Which is just due to how long the day has been... Not because of the bridge thing." Wow, that was a mouthful. Tobi always seemed to trail words out of her like it was an every day thing. As if. Most were lucky to get a two-word cynical response out of her.
She smirked at his manly-man impression, refraining from commenting on it. "I'm not menacing." She replied, glancing at him from the side as they walked. Ariella gave him an expression that conveyed Do I not look completely innocent to you?

"Okay, okay, you're not menacing. I was only kidding." He smiled over at her. Tobias believed there was good in Ariella, why else would she be working there when she was from a Noble family? There was still much to learn about her, but from what he knew so far, he thought there was more to her than what met the eye. Reaching the makeshift kitchen they had within the nursery, Tobi walked over to a basket overflowing with fruit. "We don't have much to eat, but we're fully stocked on fruit." He grabbed a peach for himself.
"I look good for a girl no matter the experiences of the day." she informed him, not leaving room for him to debate the matter. Ariella, just like Tobi, didn't mean her jokes to be taken as any sort of move... though some guys took them that way. She just said what came into her head first... sue a girl for having a smart mouth.
Ariella paused though, when he mentioned taking care of everything by himself. She knew he didn't mean it in a rude way, she just didn't like the implications. Like she couldn't handle a full day's work like everyone else could? Just because she was a Noble didn't she mean she was weak. Though he probably was just making a kind gesture, that certainly wasn't the way she saw it. "No, I'll stay. Thanks." she said, grabbing nothing from the shelves. "And I don't think I'm all that hungry."

Bolt and Macy were the calves that they were keeping an eye on in the nursery. Their mother was fine, but the birth had been anything but easy. However, they were getting stronger and more antsy as the days passed by. Bolt was the hardest to feed because he preferred to play, and when he finally would drink from the bottle, well he likes to tug it out of the hands of whoever is feeding him. Macy was more docile, nothing to be said there. "Let's get going then." He grinned over at Ariella before walking off to the other pen that held two little ones.
