darth maul or count dooku who should have died in first episode

i think count dooku should have died in the first episode because darth maul is awesomer

I think that Darth Maul should die first. Obi-Wan killed him on the first episode. People say that Darth Maul will revive.
Yes but without Dooku there would not have been a separatist revolt in the first place so we need him to live past the first movie. Anyway he was not even in the first movie so its a moot point.
Darth Maul lives!!!!! But they needed Count Dooku to continue the war and Darth Maul was still young to really keep the confrontation going.
George Lucas's showing his usual self. He said in an interview that he killed Darth Maul like he did to show that he was dead and would not return, but he also said that there would be no Star Wars 7,8 and 9.
according to The Clone Wars animated series. Darth Maul did not die.
