I thought it was good, but it could have shown more of the wife's side of things.... I was curious to learn about her –– what she was into, her background, etc. Yes, it went into her parents and her career and all, but...
I've heard it was good, but I've also heard it was "Fantastic, life changing!.."... Like some of those Christian things that churches praise just cause they're Christian, and not because they really are great.
I can see how it would be "life changing," if you take ahold of the principles portrayed in it, but if you just watch it for entertainment, you might get a bit of the "Oh, that's cute!" feeling towards the end. I dunno. For me, it gave me a crash course reminder on how to treat relationships –– and perhaps a few pitfalls to be cautious of when I eventually do get married.
It was great! Honestly. I have to admit, I myself got annoyed with the wife. She was being selfish in always complaining to him. He works hard, & being stressed, & then has to deal with the same thing at home? It wasn't right. & thrn as he us doing the dare, she starts to cheat on him with the doctor? Wrong! So, yea, great movie. I was on his side though, all the way.
I think they were both making mistakes and the showed more of his healing and less of hers. He ignored her. When you get married both sides need to listen. I think that what they didn't show was that the whole marriage was like this he just plain didn't listen. She hit her braking point. he then went off in return. neither side was justified. they both should have listened. I think they make him look like a hero for trying so hard. While she simply had to accept his apology but they both had to try very hard.
And what about him cheating on her?
Exactly. Both sides had issues they needed to deal with. Marriage is a team effort. In order to make it work, both husband and wife need to be willing to put the other person first.I quite enjoyed the interactions with him and the neighbors...
hey did you know that at the end...when the wife and husband were kissing...the wife actor was changed to the mans real wife...beacuse he didnt want to kiss anyone but his real wife!<3 how sweet!:)
