Hi Kelly. Were any of your characters inspired by somebody you actually know in real life?

That's a great question. In this particular case not really. All the characters are totally fictional. I may start with a few characteristics of people I know when I'm building a character's profile but mostly I create them in my own mind and then let them come to life through their action on the pages.

You would be one of my most fascinating characters! Especially if I decide to write a sci-fi fantasy. Can't you see yourself as Uhura type character? :0)

Do you think any real life politicians may have influenced some of your political characters?

I don't think I consciously thought of any real life politicians. I had Warren built in my mind and the fact that he's arrogant and completely self-absorbed was what I created him to be to suit my own picture of him. Because he's rich and abusive it called for a particular kind of personality. I don't know too many senators that have that personality type but then people didn't know Warren was what he truly was either. There in another Lie!
