The marshes of Hobbiton, that can lead into the forest. Beware of stinging insects.

Woodsong looked around the marsh as he walked through it, glancing up at the fading sky insects buzzing around him.

[D'you want me to bring in Lego?]

((Sure))

Legolas ran up to a figure, arrow nocked in his bow, before he lowered it. "Woodsong!"

Woodsong looked at Legolas with a smile. "Hello Legolas." He greeted.

"Mellon," Legolas said, and embraced him gently. "I have not seen you for long."

"Nor have I seen you." He said looking at him. "Tell me what is going on in your life?"

"My father is still neglecting our connection to the world beyond the Mirkwood," he said with an exasperated sigh. "Otherwise, nothing. And you?"

"I've been doing what I do best, just wandering." He said.

Legolas nodded, appearing rather amused. "I see."

He smiled and chuckled softly.

Legolas grinned at him, and there was a moment's silence before he spoke. "Have you heard of the unrest in Mordor?"

He looked at him. "No, I've tended to stay away from those sorts of things."

"A wise choice." Legolas answered, though his features darkened somewhat.

"What's wrong?" He asked looking at him slightly worried.

"Nothing, nothing," he replied, scanning the marshes. "You do realise this place isn't exactly safe, Woodsong?"

"Quite, but nothing has happened so far." He replied glancing around.

Legolas shrugged. "Fair enough."

"So why are you out here?" He asked.

"I was bored and had nothing better to do," he reied.

"I find that hard to believe." He said.

Legal sighed. "I had a row with my father. Didn't end well. So to spite him, I came out here."

"How often does that happen?" Woodsong asked.

"Unfortunately, quite often." Legolas replied.

"It seems it would be in your best interest to stay away from him." He said.

"I have been telling myself the same thing." The elf replied wearily.

Woodsong sighed and closed his eyes for a moment.

"You alright?" He asked.

"No, I'm not." He muttered.

"What's happened, Woodsong?" He said.

"Nothing, forget it." He said looking down.

"Sure?" Legolas answered.

He paused for a moment looking at him then back down. "Legolas." He said.

"Yes?" He answered.

"I've been wondering if you' been in contact with anyone lately."

"No.. Why?"

"I've heard some things." He said.

"Do elaborate," the elf-prince prompted.

He sighed looking down. "Never mind it."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, my dear Legolas." He replied.

The elf nodded. "Alright."

Woodsong look up at the sky and sighed.

"Do you think you would fight if the growing of the dark forces erupts into war?" Legolas murmured.

"Yes I honk I would." He said nodding, "Why?"

Legolas smiled softly. "Excellent. I was just making sure."

"Again, why?" He asked.

"Because I fear that may be the conclusion to this. Orcs cannot be reasoned with. And it is bad to miss a good soldier in the battlefield," he said with a smile.

"True." He said nodding and looking at him.
